Food Africa Cairo (Food Africa) is one of the largest and most influential food exhibitions in Africa. Within just a few years, it has gained favor among global exporters and buyers, significantly boosting Egypt's import and export trade.

Upon entering the exhibition venue, visitors are greeted by a dazzling array of food and agricultural products, including fresh fruits and vegetables, tea, and dairy products. A wide variety of canned goods, snacks, frozen foods, and green foods have also attracted numerous attendees to stop and inquire. Ahmed Samir, Egypt's Minister of Trade and Industry, stated that Food Africa helps promote the development of food trade across the African continent, reflecting the interest of Egyptian and international companies in the African market and the broad prospects of related industries.

Idris, head of AGD Exhibitions Egypt, the organizer of the event, noted that the exhibition integrates various innovative formats such as product displays, trade negotiations, and symposiums, creating a platform for companies worldwide to enter the Egyptian and African food and agricultural markets. He mentioned that Egypt imports nearly $1 billion worth of dairy products annually. It is projected that by 2025, the output value of agriculture and agro-processing across the African continent will reach $204 billion. "This presents abundant opportunities for foreign enterprises. We welcome more companies to exhibit and invest."

Food Africa Cairo (Food Africa) has attracted numerous Chinese enterprises from Gansu, Guangdong, Shanghai, and other regions. Xu Yanhe, Executive Chairman of the Egyptian Chinese Entrepreneurs Association, stated that Food Africa serves as a crucial platform for Chinese food companies to enter and explore the Middle Eastern and African markets. The growing participation of Chinese enterprises helps deepen economic and trade relations between China and Egypt, expand the regional influence and competitiveness of Chinese products, and achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes.
