Profile

Funeral Expo is a unique trade fair held in Warsaw. It is an event dedicated to funeral accessories, products, and services.

The exhibition attracts over 1,200 senior executives from funeral homes and cemeteries. Attendees come not only from Poland but also from Belgium, China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Finland, the Netherlands, India, Italy, Ireland, Lithuania, Mongolia, Germany, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Sweden, and Hungary. This highly international group of professional buyers has consistently surprised the organizers and delivered returns beyond expectations for exhibitors.

In Poland, traditional burial is more common than cremation. Poles place great importance on cemetery maintenance; each grave features a headstone engraved with the deceased's photo and dates of birth and death. November 1st is Poland's "All Saints' Day," often regarded as the Polish equivalent of the Qingming Festival. On this day, families visit cemeteries to clean graves. Elders light candles symbolizing the immortality of the soul for children to place, teaching younger generations to honor their ancestors. They also lay flowers, wreaths, and other decorations to commemorate the departed.

The funeral industry operates similarly worldwide: regardless of economic development, birth, aging, illness, and death are inevitable. While not typically a high-margin sector, it remains relatively stable compared to other industries. As an EU member with a standard welfare system, Poland, like most EU countries, covers citizens' funeral expenses through state social insurance institutions. Consequently, the government undoubtedly serves as a "premium client" for Poland's entire funeral sector.

JZ Exhibition, centered on innovative technology and service experience, has earned widespread acclaim. For years, JZ Exhibition has provided efficient and professional exhibition services for Chinese foreign trade enterprises. Funeral Expo stands out as the premier trade platform for the funeral industry to expand into Eastern European markets.
