Exhibition Introduction
The Exhibition Value of the Guangzhou International Low-Altitude Economy Expo (GILEX)
- A premier global event for the entire low-altitude economy value chain. Organized under the authoritative auspices of the China Unmanned Aircraft Industry Alliance, the expo has grown since its inception into one of the world’s largest and most influential comprehensive exhibitions dedicated to the low-altitude economy. In December 2025, the event will bring together over 300 leading enterprises, more than 50 international delegations, and nearly 50,000 visitors, with on-site cooperation agreements totaling over RMB 30 billion. The 2026 edition will feature a fully upgraded scale, spanning 60,000 square meters and expected to attract 800 exhibitors and 80,000 professional attendees, serving as a strategic gateway to showcase the integrated, end-to-end value chain of the low-altitude economy—encompassing manufacturing, applications, and services.
- Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, presenting all five core segments in full. Exhibits span the complete spectrum, including aircraft manufacturing (eVTOLs, unmanned aerial vehicles, unmanned surface vessels), unmanned systems R&D (autonomous driving systems, countermeasure systems, avionics), artificial intelligence and key technologies (virtual reality, big data, integrated circuits, low-altitude intelligent networking, air traffic management systems), low-altitude infrastructure (navigation, communications, radar, takeoff and landing facilities), and drone‑related supporting technologies (aerospace engines, power systems, flight simulators). From hardware production to software services, from core components to complete system integration, the exhibition offers a holistic view of innovation across the entire low-altitude economy value chain.
- Bringing together global industry leaders to foster collaborative innovation. The 2026 edition is anticipated to host over 1,000 leading domestic and international companies across the value chain. Industry giants such as EHang, DJI, and XAG have already confirmed their participation. Past exhibitors include Zhongke Yuntu, Puzhou Technology, Yunzhiyi General Aviation, WanHong Technology, Litong Quansheng, Penghui Energy, Greep Battery, and other representative enterprises spanning the full spectrum—from complete drones and core components to countermeasure technologies and power solutions. With 80% of the exhibition space already booked, the lineup encompasses upstream component manufacturers, midstream system integrators, and downstream application service providers, creating a comprehensive industrial ecosystem showcase.
- An innovative “1+5+N” service model, establishing an efficient platform for business matchmaking. The expo introduces a groundbreaking trade‑service model centered on “end‑to‑end scenario‑based industrial ecosystem export trade.” This includes five key trade ecosystems: investment‑financing matchmaking to connect with international capital; an “Application Opportunities List” to identify global market demand; a multidimensional innovation‑driven industrial‑trade ecosystem; customized services for efficiently aggregating global supply chains; and a digitally empowered industrial service system. In 2025, the event attracted more than 50 overseas delegations, thousands of foreign buyers, and numerous investment institutions, firmly establishing itself as a truly international business‑matching platform.
- Over 20 high‑level forums providing authoritative guidance and setting the tone for industry innovation. Concurrent with the expo, more than 20 specialized forums will be held, addressing critical topics such as international standardization, airspace management, airworthiness certification, low‑altitude logistics and delivery, communication technologies, power and energy systems, countermeasure technologies, and industry‑education integration. Renowned officials from relevant national ministries, domestic and international academicians, industry leaders, and distinguished experts will deliver keynote speeches under the overarching theme of “Unmanned Systems Innovation Driving Trillion‑Dollar Low‑Altitude Growth,” offering participating enterprises a high‑level think tank to navigate policy directions and anticipate industry trends. Additionally, the six‑year‑old Golden Wing Award recognizes exemplary innovations in the sector, providing a “China Solution” for the global development of the low‑altitude economy.
- New themed exhibition zones and dynamic demonstrations create immersive experiential spaces. The 2026 edition introduces new features, including a low‑altitude application demonstration zone (featuring live, real‑world scenarios), an international exhibition area, and a service‑trade zone. For the first time, it will also host a full‑scale exhibition of unmanned systems equipment, an exhibition of low‑speed autonomous vehicle innovations, and the Guangzhou International Embodied Robotics Industry Ecosystem Exhibition. By integrating the five key elements—products, technology, intellectual property, markets, and capital—the expo aims to generate a powerful agglomeration effect, striving to become the world’s largest and most influential international showcase.
