Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fair

The 21st Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fair was held from April 13 to 16, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, forming one of the two flagship events of International Innovation and Technology Week alongside the concurrent Hong Kong International Tech Expo (InnoEX). Over the four-day period, the fair attracted approximately 88,000 buyers from 148 countries and regions, with non-Hong Kong visitors primarily hailing from Mainland China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan.

This edition of the Spring Electronics Fair focused on three key sectors—smart home technologies, health tech, and wearable devices—showcasing a wide array of innovative electronic products, cutting-edge technological solutions, and traditional consumer electronics. The exhibition featured several thematic zones, including the “Technology Pavilion,” which highlighted electric mobility tools, electronic healthcare products, and groundbreaking innovations leveraging IoT, robotics, 5G, and virtual reality, as well as energy storage and environmentally sustainable solutions.

During the event, numerous companies unveiled new products: Guangzhou Havit Technology introduced a hat incorporating air-conduction technology and a patented design, functioning also as headphones; Qingdao Leishen Technology, part of the Haier Group, made its debut in Asia outside Mainland China with smart glasses; and Shenzhen Antopu publicly showcased an intelligent pet air purifier that taps into the pet economy through its dual-core technology of “scientific hair removal and odor elimination combined with pet interaction.”

Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fairalso hosted the “Tech-Driven Industries and Economy Conference,” bringing together government officials from around the world to discuss policy measures aimed at fostering industrial growth. A forward-looking technology symposium, titled “AI by Your Side: Unlocking a New Era of Smart Wearables,” convened industry leaders to explore emerging trends in smart glasses, rings, and other wearable devices. Meanwhile, the Digital Entertainment Experience Zone returned to great acclaim, offering attendees immersive esports experiences, such as a VR boxing game presented by exhibitor Refract.

According to survey results, 40% of participating exhibitors and buyers anticipate an overall increase in sales over the next one to two years, while 50.5% expect sales to remain stable. Nearly 30% of respondents indicated that, compared to conventional electronics, consumers are willing to pay a premium of 21% to 30% for products that integrate with smart home systems or AI applications.
