Indonesia Toy and Baby Products ExhibitionProfile

The Indonesia Baby & Toy Expo (IBTE Indonesia) is the largest international exhibition for baby products and toys in Indonesia, bringing together global brands and manufacturers.Given that Indonesia’s population is predominantly young, the market share for toys and infant products remains substantial.

This edition of the expo enjoys the support of numerous industry associations, including the Indonesian Baby & Children Products Association (P4B) and the ATAA Asian Toy & Baby Products Association Alliance, as well as relevant Indonesian government agencies. Leveraging regional industrial resources and an extensive international buyer network, the event will establish a specialized platform integrating trade procurement, brand showcases, and industry networking.

Spanning 20,000 square meters, the Indonesia Baby & Toy Expo (IBTE Indonesia) will feature over 100,000 new toy and infant product offerings tailored to the Southeast Asian market, with an anticipated attendance of more than 40,000 international professional buyers.

Numerous enterprises from China, Indonesia, Japan,Singapore, and Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan will showcase innovative products, including industry leaders such as Yiwu Xie Xin Group, Senbao Culture, and ManYouCang Cultural Technology, collectively highlighting cutting-edge advancements in the global toy and infant products sector.

Indonesia sees approximately 5 million newborns annually, with a child population under 14 years old numbering around 65 million. This sizable demographic drives a steady increase in demand for a wide range of toys and infant/children’s products. For distributors, suppliers, agents, and retailers, this presents an exceptional opportunity to engage directly with brands and manufacturers and gain immediate access to the latest market offerings.

The Indonesia Baby & Toy Expo (IBTE Indonesia) is expected to attract professional buyers from Indonesia, ASEAN, and markets worldwide, including representatives from retail and e‑commerce giants such as TOYS KINGDOM, MAP, TOY CITY, Indomaret, Lotte, AEON MALL, Tokopedia, Lazada, and other leading channel partners.

Indonesia Toy and Baby Products Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. The Exhibition Value of the Indonesia Toy & Baby Products Expo (IBTE Indonesia)

  • Southeast Asia’s largest and most professional B2B flagship event for the toy and infant‑care industries. Co‑organized by ChaoYu Exhibition and the Indonesian Toy Association (AMI), IBTE Indonesia has been successfully held for eight consecutive editions and is Indonesia’s first specialized toy and baby products trade show certified by UFI, the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry. Against the backdrop of Indonesia being the world’s fourth most populous country—with approximately 65 million children and an annual newborn population of 5 million—the exhibition is widely recognized within the industry as a leading indicator of Southeast Asia’s toy and infant‑care sector development and as a pivotal gateway for companies seeking to expand into the Indonesian and ASEAN markets.
  • A one‑stop showcase covering the entire industry value chain. The expo encompasses the full spectrum of the industry, including toys—such as trendy toys, blind box figures, plush toys, building blocks, remote‑control toys, educational toys, and electronic games—as well as infant‑care products like feeding supplies, strollers, cribs, car seats, children’s clothing and footwear, personal care items, and maternity‑and‑postnatal care products. It also features IP licensing, covering anime, gaming, and film‑related intellectual property and their derivative products, alongside stationery and gift items. From traditional toys to AI‑enabled smart toys, and from essential infant‑care products to trendy cultural derivatives, exhibitors can seamlessly connect—from product display and brand exposure to business negotiations—within a single platform.
  • Precise access to core ASEAN buyers and distribution channels. With years of deep engagement in the Indonesian and ASEAN markets, IBTE has attracted over 250,000 professional buyers from more than 60 countries worldwide, amassing a database of over 150,000 high‑quality industry contacts. At the last edition, the event drew 45,965 professional visitors from 53 countries and regions, facilitating 865 on‑site B2B matchmaking sessions. Attendees included leading offline retailers such as TOYS KINGDOM, AEON, LOTTE, and Hyper Mart, as well as major e‑commerce platforms like Lazada, Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Tokopedia. Over 62.8% of attendees were senior procurement executives, with 92.6% of buyers finding satisfactory suppliers on site, and exhibitor satisfaction reaching an impressive 95%. Exhibitors gain direct access to the key purchasing decision‑makers driving consumption across ASEAN’s 600 million consumers.
  • Unique value for Chinese enterprises—serving as a strategic engine to capture Southeast Asia’s hundred‑billion‑dollar market. IBTE has been selected as a key exhibition under Guangdong Province’s “Canton Fair Global” initiative and has been designated by multiple provinces and municipalities as a priority overseas‑expansion platform, offering participating companies policy subsidies.
  • The organizer offers value-added initiatives such as B2B business matchmaking, VIP buyer tours of the exhibition halls, an IP licensing conference, and TikTok sales strategy workshops, helping Chinese companies efficiently connect with local distributors and overseas warehousing service providers. Numerous domestic brands—including Disney, BRIO Building Blocks, KAYOU Animation, Ye Luoli, and Jason Animation—have successfully entered the Indonesian market through IBTE. Exhibiting companies can also leverage the event to gain in-depth insights into local consumer trends and import regulations, enabling them to swiftly establish distribution networks across Southeast Asia.
  • A Cutting-Edge Hub for Technological Innovation and Industry TrendsAt the show, AI‑powered smart toys, IP‑derived merchandise, blind box figurines, eco‑friendly toys, and functional infant and toddler products have emerged as key highlights. Concurrent with the exhibition, more than ten high‑quality forums were held, including the International Licensing Conference and the TikTok Sales Strategy Summit, featuring experts from leading organizations such as the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association and The Walt Disney Company, who shared global licensing trends and opportunities for industry collaboration. Exhibiting companies can thus promptly identify emerging consumption‑driven growth directions in the Southeast Asian toy and infant‑toddler markets, securing a competitive edge in these burgeoning segments.
  • Jakarta’s Geographical and Industrial AdvantagesHeld at the Jakarta International Expo Center, the event is strategically located in the heart of ASEAN’s economic core. As ASEAN’s largest economy, Indonesia continues to benefit from a robust demographic dividend, with a rapidly expanding middle class driving explosive growth in the infant‑toddler products and trendy toy markets. Jakarta, serving as Indonesia’s political and economic capital as well as a major international trade hub, exerts significant influence over neighboring markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. Leveraging Jakarta’s strategic location and IBTE’s position as an industry leader, this exhibition provides exhibitors with a premier platform to engage with ASEAN’s vast consumer base of over 600 million people.

Co-hosted by Chaoyu Exhibition and the Indonesian Toy Association (AMI), this edition of the show is the most significant annual B2B trade event in Southeast Asia’s toy and infant‑care industry.

Exhibition Space and Exhibitor Numbers Reach New Highs. This year’s event spanned 20,000 square meters, featuring nearly 1,000 booths and showcasing over 100,000 exhibits. More than 500 reputable companies from China, Indonesia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and other countries participated. Renowned domestic and international brands—including Disney, Bruder Building Blocks, KAYOU Animation, Ye Luoli, Yanbao Shikong, Dapai Trendy Toys, Jason Animation, Ha Yidai, and NuoJia Trading—made a prominent appearance. The exhibition attracted 45,965 professional buyers from 53 countries and regions, marking a record high in attendance.

Exhibitor Portfolio Demonstrates International Diversity. The exhibition featured diverse thematic zones, including trendy toys, baby products, IP licensing, and stationery & gifts, highlighting innovative offerings such as blind box figures, plush toys, building block sets, educational toys, and AI‑enabled smart toys. The IP licensing zone emerged as a major highlight, with well-known IP holders like Disney and Japanese animation studios presenting their latest licensed products, driving robust on‑site transactions. Several new blind box collections blending traditional Chinese culture with contemporary trends made their debut, drawing keen interest from buyers. Meanwhile, AI‑powered smart toys and educational products, prized for their technological sophistication and cognitive benefits, proved particularly popular among attendees seeking strategic partnerships.

B2B Business Matching Yields Substantial Results. During the event, the organizers meticulously coordinated 865 targeted B2B business‑matching sessions, employing a one‑on‑one matchmaking approach to help exhibitors efficiently connect with potential buyers.

The exhibition extended targeted invitations to leading ASEAN‑region buyers, including TOYS KINGDOM, MULTI TOYS, AEON, LOTTE, and Hyper Mart, while providing nearly a thousand high‑quality buyers with personalized venue‑tour itineraries and dedicated reception services. The on‑site business‑matching atmosphere was exceptionally vibrant, with numerous exhibitors securing commitments for long‑term supply arrangements or agency partnerships during the event.

A Rich Array of Concurrent Events. During the exhibition, more than ten high‑quality forums were held, covering topics such as the “International Licensing Conference,” “Toys Across Borders: China–Indonesia Industry Collaboration,” and “TikTok Shop Sales Maximization Strategies.” Renowned experts—including Ms. Huang Yufen, Managing Director for Greater China and Southeast Asia at the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association, and Mr. Alex Baillie, Vice President for South Asia and the Pacific at The Walt Disney Company—delivered keynote speeches, engaging in in‑depth discussions on key issues like global licensing trends, China–Indonesia industry cooperation, and TikTok e‑commerce operations. The forums were fully booked, and participating companies responded enthusiastically.

Strong Reactions from Exhibitors and the Industry. Guangzhou Jason Animation Culture Co., Ltd. stated that since launching its overseas expansion strategy in 2023, its debut at IBTE in 2024 marked a pivotal milestone. Through B2B matchmaking at this year’s show, the company secured numerous potential clients, with negotiations progressing smoothly. Hangzhou Baojin Shikong Culture Co., Ltd. noted that IBTE served as the brand’s inaugural stop in international markets, and that B2B connections established at the event have enabled the company to forge deep ties with several local conglomerates, resulting in multiple cooperative agreements. Hebei Yeloli Toy Technology Co., Ltd., making its first appearance at the exhibition, immediately attracted high‑end customers—including chain supermarkets and top-tier distributors—from Indonesia and neighboring countries, with some already reaching preliminary cooperation agreements. Overall, exhibiting companies reported that the event drew highly qualified professional buyers with clear purchasing intentions, making it an invaluable gateway for entering the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets.
