Profile

The IFA – International Consumer Electronics Fair Berlin was first held in 1924 and has become a premier global event where manufacturers and traders of consumer electronics and home appliances showcase new products and engage in business and technological exchanges. IFA serves as a key platform for European wholesalers, buyers, and home appliance retailers to network and source products, making it the world’s largest and most influential consumer electronics exhibition to date.

Since 2017, the original IFA CityCube Berlin Expo Center has been reserved exclusively for brand exhibitors, while all OEM/ODM participants and international pavilions have relocated to IFA Global Markets@Station Berlin. IFA is a leading international venue for showcasing cutting-edge consumer electronics, reflecting the latest industry trends, and providing an unparalleled opportunity for networking, product launches, customer engagement, and brand promotion. IFA stands alongside CES in the United States as one of the world’s preeminent consumer electronics exhibitions.

This technological extravaganza, themed “The Future Is Here,” brought together over 1,900 brands from around the globe, highlighting groundbreaking advancements in artificial intelligence, robotics, smart home technologies, and future mobility. At the opening ceremony, robotics and AI clearly took center stage.

As one of the world’s three major consumer electronics trade shows, this year’s IFA hosted more than 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries and regions, attracting an estimated audience of over 220,000 visitors worldwide.

A notable trend at this year’s IFA is the transition of AI from virtual realms into tangible applications. Leif Lindner, head of the exhibition organizer, emphasized that artificial intelligence is no longer confined to content generation or complex task processing but is increasingly integrated into the physical world, deeply converging with robotics.

In the IFA Next innovation zone, humanoid robots emerged as the standout attraction, with a record number of exhibits. Chinese robotics companies virtually dominated this area, with brands such as Unitree, Zhiyuan, and Zhongqing presenting humanoid robots capable of performing tai chi, playing soccer, and engaging in martial arts demonstrations—drawing significant public interaction and engagement. Such hands-on, physically interactive AI experiences clearly resonate far more strongly with audiences than purely conversational AI approaches.

IFA CEO Leif Lindner explained the theme for 2027 by noting that this slogan reflects a shift in mindset: technologies once considered distant and merely showcased in demo presentations are now firmly embedded in everyday life, transforming how people live and work.

Registration for IFA 2027 booths is now open! We offer one-stop services including booth applications, subsidy submissions, itinerary planning, and exhibit transportation, helping you efficiently enter the European market through our comprehensive support.

IFA – International Consumer Electronics Fair Berlin tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. Review

The 101st International Consumer Electronics Show (IFA 2025) in Berlin, Germany, was successfully held from September 5 to 9, 2025, at the Berlin Exhibition Center. With “Innovation For All” as its core theme, the event brought together over 1,900 exhibitors from 49 countries, attracting approximately 220,000 professional visitors and consumers worldwide, while media coverage spanned more than 80 countries.

AI Emerges as a Core Driving Force, Enabling Comprehensive Technological Implementation

Artificial intelligence is no longer merely a marketing buzzword; it has become an integral element woven throughout all exhibits. The show highlighted AI’s “more concrete and practical” applications across smart home devices, consumer electronics, and other sectors—ranging from AI-powered agents to refrigerators equipped with AI vision technology and washing machines capable of recognizing fabrics. AI is reshaping the user experience, from individual products to whole-home smart ecosystems. This year, new product launches increased by 32% compared to the previous edition, and the inaugural IFA Innovation Award received over 500 entries, with LG’s OLED TV clinching the prestigious “Best of IFA” grand prize.

China’s Rising Influence: From Participant to Shaper of Industry Trends

Chinese exhibitors reached a record high, numbering approximately 760 companies—accounting for over 38% of all exhibitors—and firmly establishing themselves as an indispensable force driving innovation. Chinese firms have undergone a significant transformation, shifting their role from mere electronics contract manufacturers to leaders in key technological fields. In the display technology sector, Hisense unveiled the world’s first mass-produced 116-inch RGB-Mini LED TV, marking China’s evolution from a technology follower to a rule-setter, thereby defining 2025 as the “Year One of RGB-Mini LED.” Meanwhile, in the smart cleaning space, brands such as Dreame, Ecovacs, and Roborock showcased innovative offerings across the full spectrum of robotic vacuum cleaners, window-cleaning robots, lawn-mowing robots, and more, underscoring their dynamic creativity.

Sustainability and Cross-Industry Convergence as New Growth Engines

This year’s show responded profoundly to global concerns about sustainable development. Energy-saving technologies, eco-friendly materials, and AI-driven energy-efficiency solutions introduced by Chinese companies stood out prominently. TCL’s use of environmentally friendly materials and Midea’s AI ECO smart energy-saving system exemplified tangible progress—from technological innovation to practical environmental stewardship. At the same time, the exhibition kept pace with emerging trends, with the newly established Creator Center drawing over 1,200 content creators, while specialized zones dedicated to beauty tech and mobility technologies also garnered significant attention, highlighting the deep integration of technology with culture, fashion, and everyday life.
