Indonesia Jakarta Water Treatment Exhibition

The Indonesia Jakarta Water Treatment Exhibition (Indo Water Expo & Forum) is the largest and most comprehensive water treatment exhibition in Indonesia. Held alternately in Jakarta and Surabaya, it enjoys strong support from Indonesia’s Ministry of Public Works, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Trade, the Indonesian Water Industry Association, and the Indonesian Exhibition Association.

In his opening address, Ade Palguna Ruteka, Deputy Minister for Waste and Hazardous Substances Management at Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment, emphasized that access to clean water, energy transition, waste management, and smart city development are closely interconnected, underscoring the critical importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in building sustainable cities. He called on local governments and all sectors of society to actively engage in advancing technological innovation and improving waste management capabilities, thereby addressing the resource and environmental challenges posed by urbanization.

Arya Seta, Executive Director of PT Napindo Media Group, the event organizer, stated that this year’s exhibition features 611 exhibitors from 26 countries, with pavilions representing 12 nations and regions, including Indonesia, China, Japan, India, Canada, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Switzerland, and Turkey. This not only highlights Indonesia’s market potential in water treatment and environmental technologies but also underscores the exhibition’s pivotal role in fostering international technical exchange and cooperation.
