Exhibition Introduction
The Exhibition Value of the China International Gas Industry Expo
- The Wuxi International Gas Industry EXPO is Asia’s largest and most specialized event in the gas industry. Since its inception, it has become a global benchmark for the development of the gas sector and a central hub for connecting the entire industry chain. Organized by Gas Circle, the expo is held annually at the Taihu International Expo Center in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. The 2026 edition will take place from April 15 to 17, serving as a strategic platform to link global gas‑industry resources, showcase cutting-edge technological advances, and steer industry trends.
- The core value of exhibiting lies in its unparalleled pool of professional buyers and its highly concentrated international procurement power. The 2026 expo is expected to span 30,000 square meters, bringing together over 600 domestic and international brands and attracting 50,000 professional visitors. In 2025, the event drew attendees from more than 30 countries and regions, including procurement teams from leading companies such as TSMC, SK Hynix, SMIC, CNPC, Sinopec, and CATL. Professional buyer delegations from India, Russia, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and other nations gathered on site, with India’s INOXAP forming a dedicated buyer group, effectively transforming the event into a marketplace where traffic translates into concrete business opportunities.
- The expo establishes a one-stop commercial platform covering the entire gas industry value chain. Exhibits range from core technologies and supporting equipment for gas separation, purification, compression, and storage & transportation, to gas analysis and testing instruments, gas valves, piping components and related ancillary materials, electronic specialty gases and precursors, hydrogen production, storage, and transportation technologies and equipment, gas recovery technologies and engineering services, as well as digital solutions for the gas sector—encompassing the full spectrum of products and services. From gas‑production machinery to storage and transport systems, from analytical instruments to valves and fittings, a complete industrial ecosystem is seamlessly integrated.
- The expo aligns with three major industry trends—technological innovation, domestic substitution, and digital‑intelligent transformation—establishing a high‑level technical center that fosters deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. At the 2025 edition, more than 100 groundbreaking products were unveiled, including China’s first-of-its-kind equipment, industry‑first launches, and single‑category champion projects. Qicheng Suspension Technology showcased China’s first dynamic pressure turbine expander technology, marking a significant breakthrough in ultra‑low‑temperature engineering and helium applications; Zhengzhou Sandao introduced precision control technology for passivation films on electronic specialty gas cylinders, providing robust assurance for the quality stability of critical semiconductor materials; while Xintu Fluid launched the industry’s first fully automated filling system for large liquid CO₂ cylinders, signaling a major step forward in the digitalization of gas‑filling operations.
- The expo hosts numerous high‑profile industry events, creating a thought leadership platform that deeply integrates industry, academia, research, and application. During the 2025 edition, nearly 50 specialized thematic sessions were held, addressing前沿 topics such as intelligent transformation of the air‑separation industry, quality management of semiconductor precursors, the helium‑3 market and applications, isotopic gas materials, electronic simulation gas systems, and atomic‑state hydrogen storage. The 10th International Gas Industry Conference and the Asia‑Pacific Helium Conference attracted extensive participation from international experts and representatives of multinational corporations, effectively advancing global dialogue and cooperation within the gas sector.
- For Chinese enterprises, this expo serves as a strategic gateway to expand into global markets, connect with international resources, and showcase their innovative capabilities. In 2025, the number of professional exhibitors grew by 94% year over year, while attendance by professional visitors increased by 60%. Moreover, 85% of exhibitors indicated they would return for the 2026 edition. The expo has firmly established itself as the preferred venue for launching new products and showcasing technological breakthroughs in the gas industry—from 40‑foot liquid helium tank containers to microchannel cryogenic distillation technologies, from dynamic pressure turbine expanders to fully automated filling systems—many “China’s first” innovations have chosen the expo as their global debut stage. Participating companies can leverage this platform to engage with key global procurement networks and seize early opportunities in the ongoing transformations toward domestic substitution, intelligence, and green practices within the gas sector.
