Co-organized by the Swiss Federal Government, the Government of the Canton of Geneva, and the World Intellectual Property Organization, it is also among the longest-running and largest invention exhibitions globally.

Inventions Geneva showcases prototypes and finished products across diverse technological fields—including electrical engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, optics, water technology, energy, and environmental sustainability—as well as more straightforward categories such as toys and household appliances. An international jury of over eighty distinguished experts rigorously evaluates each submitted invention, selecting award‑winning entries. Due to the expertise and prestige of the jury, these awards are widely recognized worldwide, serving as compelling evidence of the value of the winning inventions.
