The Yiwu International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition (ME EXPO) is the largest and most influential intelligent equipment exhibition in the Jiangsu–Zhejiang region. Co-hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Commission of Economy and Information Technology, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and the People’s Government of Yiwu City, the event takes the implementation of the “Made in China 2025 – Zhejiang Action Plan” as an opportunity to build a renowned domestic and international platform for equipment manufacturing showcasing, exchange, and collaboration, thereby facilitating the introduction of world-class equipment, cutting-edge technologies, and top-tier talent teams.
At the previous edition of the Yiwu International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition (ME EXPO), the total exhibition area reached 50,000 square meters, with 500 exhibiting companies and approximately 30,000 attendees. Among them were over 10,000 senior executives and procurement representatives from large-scale industrial enterprises within Zhejiang Province. The event also successfully invited more than 15 central state-owned enterprises to form purchasing delegations, over 60 prominent industry associations to organize buyer groups, and overseas professional buyer delegations numbering more than 500 participants to engage in business matchmaking and negotiation activities.
The Yiwu International Intelligent Equipment Exhibition (ME EXPO) serves to expand market access for the equipment manufacturing sector, support initiatives such as “replacing labor with machines” and “intelligent manufacturing,” and foster the development of high-end equipment manufacturing. The exhibition aims to secure contracted transaction values exceeding RMB 12 billion, including no less than RMB 6.7 billion in equipment procurement contracts signed by provincial manufacturers and at least RMB 2.95 billion in sales contracts concluded by participating local enterprises. Knitting and Sewing Equipment and Technology Exhibition: Highlights fabric‑stretching and cutting equipment, including standard fabric stretchers, automatic fabric stretchers, cutting knives, cloth‑cutting machines, automated cutting tables, and other related devices and accessories; sewing equipment, such as flatbed sewing machines, button‑attaching machines, buttonhole‑making machines, overlock machines, and edge‑finishing machines; as well as automated sewing units, including automatic pocket‑opening machines, automatic trouser‑panel‑sewing machines, automatic pocket‑applying machines, and automated template‑applying machines.
