To better meet industry needs, since 2010, Automechanika Moscow has joined forces with MIMS (the International Exhibition for Automotive Parts, Accessories and Equipment) to provide an enhanced platform for manufacturers and buyers. The event focuses on the rapidly growing Russian automotive market, covering all segments of the automotive industry—from cutting-edge auto parts and accessories to after-sales service equipment.
Exhibitors showcase a wide range of automotive components, accessories, repair equipment, and advanced repair technologies. By presenting innovative solutions and high‑quality parts, they attract automakers, repair shops, and after-sales service providers, fostering business relationships and promoting market exchange and collaboration within the automotive parts and after-sales services sectors.
Visitors can gain insights into the latest trends in the automotive parts industry, advances in repair technologies, and evolving market demands through exhibition tours, technical seminars, specialized lectures, and demonstrations of repair techniques. The Exhibition Value of MIMS Automobility in Russia
- Russia’s and the CIS region’s largest and most authoritative specialized automotive event. First held in 1991 and organized by ITEMF Exhibition Company, it is the longest-running automotive trade show in Russia and Eastern Europe. In 2025, the exhibition will bring together 1,667 exhibitors from over 20 countries and attract 47,440 professional visitors from 87 regions across Russia. With the highest number of exhibitors, the largest audience, and the greatest exhibition space in the region, it serves as a strategic gateway for automotive component manufacturers, suppliers, and after-sales service providers to access the market and expand their business.
- Comprehensive coverage of the entire industry chain, showcasing nine core sectors in full. Exhibits span automotive components—including engines, powertrains, chassis, braking systems, steering systems, body parts, lighting, tires, filters, and more—alongside diagnostic and repair equipment such as diagnostic tools, lifts, welding machines, and tire-retreading machinery; batteries and electronic products like control units, sensors, actuators, and high-voltage systems; lubricants and maintenance products including engine oils, coolants, and greases; automotive accessories and customization items; management software and digital solutions; alternative drive technologies; connectivity solutions; and after-sales services. From core components to maintenance and repair, and from conventional fuel vehicles to new-energy electric vehicles, the exhibition presents the full spectrum of innovations across the automotive aftermarket value chain.
- A golden springboard for Chinese companies seeking to enter the Russian market, offering a historic opportunity to fill critical supply-chain gaps. In response to Western sanctions, many European and American automakers have withdrawn from the Russian market, leading to significant shortages in the domestic parts supply chain. In 2025, Chinese exhibitors will exceed 600, firmly establishing China as the largest overseas delegation at the show. Chinese automobiles already hold a stable market share of over 55% in Russia, with China exporting 1.158 million vehicles to Russia in 2024—accounting for roughly 20% of China’s total auto exports. The robust growth of the vehicle market has opened up vast opportunities in the aftermarket sector. The exhibition features a dedicated EAC certification zone to help companies navigate trade barriers and accelerate localization efforts.
- An elite platform connecting with high-value buyers and precisely targeting key procurement decision-makers. In 2025, the exhibition will draw 47,440 professional visitors from all 87 regions of Russia, with 90% representing local procurement decision-makers from Russia and the CIS, including distributors, repair‑chain operators, OEM after-sales departments, and government procurement agencies. Leveraging St. Petersburg’s port and logistics hub, the event extends its reach across Russia and into neighboring countries such as Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Finland. Concurrent B2B matchmaking sessions, more than 30 specialized forums, and hands-on repair‑skill competitions provide businesses with an efficient platform to gain insights into industry trends and expand their commercial networks.

Review
From May 12 to 15, 2025, the MIMS Automobility exhibition—Russia’s premier trade show for automotive aftermarket parts and services—was successfully held at the EXPOCENTRE International Exhibition Center in Moscow. Organized by ITEMF Exhibitions, the event occupied Halls 1, 2, 5, 8, and Forum, drawing 1,667 exhibiting companies from over 20 countries and attracting 47,440 professional visitors from 87 regions across Russia.
A robust exhibitor lineup with a markedly enhanced international presence. In addition to an extensive Chinese delegation, national pavilions from Turkey, Iran, South Korea, India, and other countries made striking appearances. Exhibitors from Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Singapore, Thailand, Italy, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and numerous other nations also participated actively. Jiangsu CCPIT International Exhibition Co., Ltd. organized approximately 30 Jiangsu-based enterprises, showcasing core products such as automotive lighting, bumpers, turbochargers, fuel injectors, electric water pumps, brake pads, radiators, and engine components.
Chinese companies delivered standout performances, with overwhelmingly positive feedback on their participation. Amid sanctions imposed by Europe and the United States, Western automakers have progressively withdrawn from the Russian market, creating an exceptional window of opportunity for Chinese firms. A Changzhou-based company specializing in complete vehicle assemblies exhibited in a custom-designed booth, drawing a steady stream of visitors. The company not only engaged customers from Russia and neighboring countries but also connected with buyers from South American markets, including Colombia. Another Changzhou firm producing lighting systems for Nissan and Toyota vehicles won favor among high-end clientele thanks to its superior product quality. Meanwhile, a turbocharger manufacturer based in Changzhou reconnected with longstanding partners while establishing new relationships with clients from Iran and Central Asia, expressing satisfaction with the results and planning to participate again next year.
Unprecedented market opportunities drive continued growth in Sino-Russian automotive trade. In 2023, China exported roughly 162,000 vehicles to Russia; by 2024, this figure had surged to 1.158 million, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 27% and accounting for around 20% of China’s total automobile exports. Sales of Chinese-brand passenger cars in Russia have been steadily climbing, with 789,000 units sold in the first eleven months of 2024—nearly 60% of the Russian market. This explosive growth has opened up vast after-sales opportunities for Chinese auto-parts manufacturers. The 2026 edition of the exhibition is scheduled to relocate to the Expoforum Exhibition Center in St. Petersburg, taking place from August 25 to 28.
