The China Feed Industry Exhibition (NAHS CFIA), founded in 1996, has become a key platform for showcasing new achievements, exchanging best practices, sharing cutting-edge information, promoting innovative concepts, fostering collaboration, and advancing technological breakthroughs within the domestic and international animal nutrition and feed sectors.

Review
The 2025 China Feed Industry Exhibition was successfully held from April 18 to 20 at the Qingdao International Convention & Exhibition Center (Hongdao Hall). With the theme “Innovation Drives Development, Green Practices Lead the Future,” the event was organized by the China Feed Industry Association. Covering a total exhibition area of over 100,000 square meters, it featured 14 thematic zones, attracted more than 1,000 exhibiting companies, and drew over 100,000 visitors, setting a new record for attendance.
China Feed Expo showcased cutting-edge technological innovations in China’s feed industry and actively promoted international cooperation and exchange. At the exhibition booth of the Feed Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the proprietary industrial feed formulation software “Zhongnongke·Longteng” made its official debut. This software integrates publicly available nutritional data for major livestock species worldwide and has already been piloted by eight leading feed companies, including Tongwei, Hefeng, and Auhua. Its computational speed and data traceability outperform comparable foreign products. Haida Group presented breakthroughs in low-protein diets and innovative raw materials, with some finishing pig formulations now completely free of soybean meal. Anyou Biotechnology Group unveiled an AI-based weight estimation system powered by machine vision, along with a pig growth simulation model; their precision feeding system has reduced the feed-to-weight ratio in finishing pigs by 0.2 and lowered per-head feed costs by RMB 60.
China Feed Industry Exhibition also hosted multiple high-level technical forums, where industry leaders engaged in in-depth discussions on pressing topics such as green and low-carbon practices and digital transformation.
