THERAPIE LEIPZIG is Germany's largest trade fair for therapy, medical rehabilitation, and prevention, wielding significant influence in the region. The concurrent THERAPIE LEIPZIG Congress is the largest interdisciplinary professional forum in this field.

The previous edition of THERAPIE LEIPZIG covered a total exhibition area of 20,500 square meters, featuring 315 exhibitors from China, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), Russia, Italy, Brazil, Spain, the United States, Australia, and other regions. It attracted 16,146 visitors.

In Germany, there are a total of 158 prevention and rehabilitation medicine clinics. Of these, 54% are privately owned, 26% are operated by charitable organizations, and 20% are publicly held. Over the past few years, the number of outpatient rehabilitation centers has increased sharply. Currently, approximately 500 institutions are capable of providing intensive therapy at the local level. Most of these centers offer physiotherapy and occupational therapy services. Among them, there are about 42,500 licensed physiotherapy practices providing physical therapy as standard outpatient treatment during the post-acute phase of diseases or injuries. Additionally, 59,000 occupational therapists deliver prescribed treatments for patients with health impairments, including motor function deficits, sensory organ issues, as well as neuropsychological, neurophysiological, and psychosocial problems.
