• Uz Metal Mash Expo is the largest and most specialized metallurgy and metalworking industry event in Central Asia. Since its inception in 2008, it has been successfully held for more than a decade and is widely recognized by the industry as a leading indicator of trends in Central Asian metallurgy and a strategic gateway for global companies seeking to enter the Uzbek market and neighboring regions. Organized by IEG Exhibitions, the show enjoys strong support from official bodies such as the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade. The German national pavilion annually showcases high-end, premium-quality mining and metallurgical equipment alongside advanced metalworking technologies, featuring 16 leading German companies. Chinese exhibitors also form a substantial contingent, with “Made in China” products now accounting for 45% of Uzbekistan’s total machine tool imports, making China the country’s second-largest trading partner, with nearly 1,600 Chinese-invested enterprises operating within Uzbekistan.
