Exhibition Introduction
The Value of Participating in Vietfood & ProPack Ho Chi Minh City
- Co-hosted by Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Health, and other authoritative agencies, Vietfood & ProPack Ho Chi Minh City is Vietnam’s largest and most influential specialized exhibition for food, beverages, and processing & packaging. With the Vietnamese food and beverage sector growing at an annual rate of 7–10% and the rise of restaurant chains driving surging demand for imported raw materials, the exhibition is widely recognized within the industry as a pivotal gateway for global food companies seeking to expand into Vietnam and the ASEAN market.
- A one-stop platform covering the entire industry chain. The exhibition encompasses all segments of the value chain, including food and beverages (candies, convenience foods, seasonings, meat products, seafood, tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, beer, health foods, etc.), food additives (raw materials, flavorings, sweeteners, preservatives, etc.), food processing and packaging equipment (baking machinery, meat-processing tools, sterilization devices, automated packaging machines, filling lines, inspection systems, etc.), packaging materials and finished products (paper, plastic, metal, composite materials, etc.), hotel supplies, and cold-chain equipment. From raw materials to finished goods, from processing to packaging, exhibitors can seamlessly connect—from technology demonstrations and brand exposure to commercial negotiations—within a single venue.
- Precise access to Vietnam’s and ASEAN’s core buyers and distribution channels. At the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City exhibition, 1,000 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and regions occupied 1,400 booths, attracting over 30,000 professional visitors. Similarly, the 2026 ProPak Vietnam exhibition will gather 400 exhibitors from 18 countries. Visitor demographics include food and beverage manufacturers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, restaurant chain purchasers, hotel procurement officers, and other end-users across the entire supply chain. With Vietnam’s food and beverage industry generating revenue of VND 688.8 trillion (approximately USD 25 billion) in 2024 and continued growth in demand for imported raw materials, exhibitors have direct access to some of the most purchasing-powerful customer groups in Vietnam and ASEAN.
- Unique value for Chinese enterprises—strategic engine for expanding into the ASEAN food market. Vietnam is a key export market for Chinese food products and processing machinery. With the deepening implementation of free-trade agreements such as RCEP, trade barriers continue to diminish. The exhibition draws numerous Chinese companies specializing in food raw materials, seasonings, and processing equipment, enabling Chinese firms to showcase their own brands, connect with Vietnamese buyers, and secure overseas orders. Meanwhile, Vietnamese enterprises are actively promoting their “Make Vietnamese Foods Global Foods” strategy, creating strategic opportunities for Chinese companies to collaborate with local Vietnamese food brands.
