The Romexpo Exhibition and Convention Center in Bucharest, Romania, is an indoor venue primarily used for exhibitions, but it also hosts concerts and indoor sporting events, with a layout reminiscent of the Tokyo Dome. Opened in 1962, Romexpo underwent an expansion in 1991, bringing its total area to 100,000 square meters (approximately 25 acres). The facility can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators for concerts, and in 2007 and 2009, it served as the host venue for the BestFest music festival.
