Romexpo

The Romexpo Exhibition Center in Bucharest, Romania, is an indoor venue primarily used for exhibitions but also for concerts and indoor sports, similar to the Tokyo Dome. Romexpo opened in 1962 and was expanded in 1991, now covering a total area of 100,000 square meters (25 acres), with a concert capacity of 40,000. In 2007 and 2009, it served as the host for the music festival known as BestFest. Romexpo hosts annual trade shows such as the Leather Shoes Fair; Clothing and Fabric Fair; Building Materials Fair, etc.
