The MVG Museum of the Münchner Verkehrsgesellschaft (MVG Museum) in Munich, Germany, is a public transport museum that showcases both the historical and contemporary aspects of Munich’s public transportation system. The exhibition features 25 historic trams, buses, and service vehicles, with the trams arranged along two tracks that run through the entire hall. Each vehicle is accompanied by its corresponding “CVs” (carriage numbers). In addition, the museum displays over 150 advertising posters and other exhibits, including a subway simulator from an original vehicle dating back to the 1980s, several tram switches, historical paintings, a small cinema, and a model railway display. The museum is open to the public on two Sundays each month.
