The Vancouver Convention Centre, formerly known as the Vancouver Convention & Exhibition Centre, is located in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is one of the largest convention centers in the country. The center is divided into east and west wings, with a total of 43,340 square meters (466,500 square feet) of meeting and exhibition space, and is part of a Crown corporation under the jurisdiction of the Government of British Columbia, the British Columbia Pavilion Corporation.The Vancouver Convention Centre is a convention center in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The East Building is located at Canada Place, sharing it with cruise ship terminals and the Pan Pacific Hotel. It has 12,400 square meters (133,000 square feet) of space, including an 8,500-square-meter (91,000-square-foot), column-free, divisible exhibition hall, 20 meeting rooms, and a ballroom. The East Building was the main press center for the 2010 Winter Olympics.
