Ashgabat Exhibition Centre
The Ashgabat International Expo Center was built in 2005 and is located in the center of Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It has an exhibition area of 20,000 square meters. The Independence Palace of Ashgabat is a multi-functional building that combines international exhibitions, trade fairs, seminars, conferences, festivals, competitions, business forums, and symposiums. It consists of three exhibition areas: on the ground floor, over 6,000 square meters (ceiling height: 5 meters, floor to ceiling height: 15 meters); on the first floor, over 3,000 square meters (ceiling height: 4.5 meters); and on the second floor, over 3,000 square meters (ceiling height: 4.5 meters). In the basement (first floor) of the building, there are utility rooms for storing equipment, containers, and exhibition goods. There is a parking lot for cars and trucks, passenger elevators, and various facilities for moving and pneumomechanism to lift goods. Within the exhibition spaces on the first and second floors, there are rooms for meetings with 30 and 500 seats respectively, equipped with simultaneous interpretation equipment for media connection and remote control headphones. The building is automatically heated, ventilated, and air-conditioned.
