The Nehru Centre is a memorial to Jawaharlal Nehru in Mumbai, India. The purpose of the centre is to promote Nehru's teachings and ideals through educational and cultural programs. The centre hosts scientific, cultural, and educational activities.Established in 1972 by the eminent criminal lawyer Shri Rajni Patel in Mumbai, India (now Bombay), the Nehru Centre occupies a space of 20,000 square feet (2200 square meters). It includes an observatory, a 1000-seat auditorium, experimental theatres, art galleries, a library, and research centers.
