Changchun Agricultural Exposition Garden

Changchun Agricultural Exposition Garden is located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, the heart of the largest plain in China - the Northeast Plain. Changchun is famous nationwide as the "Automobile City", "Forest City", "Film City", "Science and Technology Cultural City", "Most Competitive Exhibition City", "National Sanitary City", "National Green Model City", "National Demonstration City for Intellectual Property Rights", "National Double拥模范城" and "Most Humanistic City". Changchun is also one of the most important grain-producing areas and commodity grain bases in the country, with a developed livestock industry and agricultural product processing industry.

Changchun Agricultural Exposition Garden is situated in the Changchun Jingyue High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, with superior location, excellent environment, convenient transportation, concentrated surrounding tourist attractions, and strong scientific and educational cultural atmosphere. The total area is 1.06 million square meters. The park is large in scale, reasonable in layout, complete in facilities, complete in functions, and advanced in technology, making it a first-class modern agricultural science and technology park in the country, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, a national science popularization education base, a Jilin provincial science popularization education base, a Jilin provincial extracurricular science and technology activity base for teenagers, a Changchun municipal science popularization education base, and one of Changchun's new fifteen scenic spots. It is also a demonstration base for Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences, a Jilin working station of the National Engineering Research Center for Intelligent Agricultural Equipment, a demonstration base for the Northeast Innovation Center of Chinese Agricultural Science and Technology, and a financial services base for Jilin Branch of Agricultural Bank of China.

The Changchun Agricultural Exposition Garden was built in 2008 and is a grand garden of modern agriculture. In recent years, the Changchun Agricultural Exposition Garden has continued to develop, with its venue facilities constantly improving, divided into exhibition hall area and exhibition field area.

The exhibition hall area covers an area of 270,000 square meters and is mainly divided into five parts:

(1) Main and auxiliary exhibition halls, covering an area of 86,000 square meters, with a building area of 56,000 square meters, including 5 indoor exhibition halls (3 main exhibition halls and 2 auxiliary exhibition halls) and 1 underground exhibition hall (in the main exhibition hall), setting up nearly 2,000 international standard booths, with a span of 60 meters without columns inside, which can meet any special requirements for space, and equipped with complete supporting facilities such as water, electricity, heat, air conditioning, elevators, meeting rooms, and negotiation rooms;

(2) Guandong (Jilin) Agricultural Farming Folk Culture Hall (underground six halls), covering an area of 6,500 square meters;

(3) Machinery exhibition area, covering an area of 50,000 square meters;

(4) Tourist service center, covering an area of 8,500 square meters.

(5) Main square and lawn and other supporting areas, covering an area of 125,000 square meters.

The exhibition field area covers an area of 790,000 square meters, mainly divided into eight parts:

(1) Modern planting industry exhibition area, covering an area of 134,000 square meters, including 5 modern greenhouses, 17 open-air planting neighborhoods, and other facilities;

(2) Premium livestock industry exhibition area, covering an area of 24,000 square meters;

(3) Ecological sightseeing garden, covering an area of 47,000 square meters, with the construction of the Agricultural Expo Ecological Hotel;

(4) New rural residential exhibition area, covering an area of 20,000 square meters;

(5) National fungus and vegetable base, covering an area of 15,000 square meters;

(6) High-tech facility agriculture display area, covering an area of 100,000 square meters, including 60,000 square meters of greenhouses and surrounding fruit tree area;

(7) Cymbidium flower production base, covering an area of 15,000 square meters, with 11 greenhouses built;

(8) Boiler room and other supporting facilities area, covering an area of 420,000 square meters, among which, the boiler room covers an area of 5,000 square meters, with a heating area of 210,000 square meters.
