The Aktobe Expo Center in Kazakhstan was established in 1869 in the city of Aktobe (formerly Aktyubinsk), which was known as Aktobe until 1891 and is located on the banks of the Ilek River. It is the center of Aktobe region, and also one of the railway, road transport, and air transport centers of Kazakhstan. The city is also one of the major cultural centers of Kazakhstan.
