Salt Palace Convention Center

The Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, USA, is currently situated on the site of a demolished arena. It boasts 515,000 square feet (47,800 square meters) of exhibition space and 164,000 square feet (15,200 square meters) of meeting space, including a grand ballroom spanning 4,200 square meters and 66 meeting rooms.

During the 2002 Winter Olympics, the Salt Palace served as the Olympic Media Center. In recognition of its pivotal role in promoting Salt Lake City’s convention and tourism industries, as well as Utah’s economic development, the Salt Lake County Council voted in the fall of 2007 to officially rename the Salt Palace Convention Center the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center.
