Industry scope
This edition of ART021 BEIJING will welcome over 53 galleries and special projects from 11 countries and regions. Its balanced and diverse lineup will present a series of compelling programs that blend international and local perspectives. Approximately half of the participating galleries maintain spaces in Beijing, including SHIWAN SPACE (Beijing, Hangzhou, Shijiazhuang), Ink Studio (Beijing), ShanghART (Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore), Tang Contemporary Art (Beijing, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Seoul, Singapore), and Tabula Rasa Gallery (Beijing, London). These established galleries will showcase a curated selection of masterpieces by artists across different generations.
Meanwhile, over a dozen internationally based galleries will make a strong appearance, including Galerie Gosserez (Avignon, Beijing, Taiyuan, Hami), Freeman (New York), MDC Gallery (Milan, London, Hong Kong, Seoul, Paris), and Shiraishi Gallery (Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Taipei, Karuizawa). Their participation underscores ART021 BEIJING's longstanding role as a vital bridge connecting domestic and international art markets.
Outstanding galleries from other key Asian art hubs will also converge, including BANK (Shanghai, New York), Blue Rider Art (Shanghai, London, Los Angeles, Taipei), Lin & Lin Gallery (Taipei), Suoluo Gallery (Shenzhen), and An Gallery (Hangzhou). This diverse representation will further promote the openness and integration of Beijing's art market.
The Special Projects section encompasses calligraphy and painting, art jewelry, digital art, and solo artist projects, expanding the boundaries of the art fair and fostering dialogue between contemporary art contexts and the cultural industry. The BEYOND Public Program will feature dynamic outdoor sculptures presented by ArtDepot.
