展会简介

The China Daily Necessities and Household Goods Fair (commonly known as the Shanghai Department Store Fair) is a long-established flagship event for the home‑goods industry in Asia, serving as a trusted platform for professional trade and collaborative exchange. This year’s edition has been expanded in scale, attracting more than 5,000 exhibitors and bringing together leading brands to explore emerging trends in the department‑store sector, thereby opening new chapters of trade for businesses. B

The Exhibition Value of the Shanghai Department Store Fair

  • Asia’s Premier Department Store Industry Show and a Nationally Recognized Authority: Founded in 1953, this national-level brand exhibition enjoys key support from the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. Over more than seven decades of development, it has grown into Asia’s largest and longest-running event for the home goods industry. The 119th edition will span 200,000 square meters, bringing together over 5,000 high-quality global exhibitors and attracting more than 130,000 professional buyers—making it an industry‑wide “barometer” and “trendsetter.”
  • Comprehensive Coverage Across Ten Thematic Zones Spanning the Entire Industry Chain: The fair features twelve major thematic zones, including Home Essentials, Modern Kitchens, Ceramic Artistry, Lifestyle Design, Pure Spaces, Fashionable Living, Minimalist Living, Gourmet Kitchenware, Bamboo & Ceramics, and Light Industrial Goods. These cover the full spectrum of categories, such as kitchenware, cleaning and bathroom products, household items, home textiles, smart appliances, ceramics, glassware, stainless steel products, bamboo and wood items, and plastic goods. More than 90% of exhibitors are source manufacturers, offering a one-stop procurement platform that spans everything from new releases to bestsellers.
  • A Hub for Multi‑Channel Buyer Resources: The fair draws over 130,000 professional buyers from more than 300 cities across China, including distributors, agents, wholesalers, supermarket buyers, e‑commerce platforms, and livestreaming agencies—representing all channels of purchasing decision‑making. Over 100 specialized buyer delegations, such as those from Yiwu International Trade City, Zhengzhou Bairong, and Shijiazhuang Nantiaosan, arrive with clearly defined procurement lists. Major supermarket chains—including Walmart, CR Vanguard, Pangdonglai, and Yonghui Superstores—as well as leading e‑commerce platforms like JD.com, Kuaishou, Hema, and NetEase Yanxuan, actively participate in product selection and sourcing.
  • Significantly Enhanced Internationalization: The 118th edition attracted international buyer delegations from 67 countries and regions, including South Korea, Singapore, the Netherlands, Morocco, South Africa, Kazakhstan, India, and Cameroon, with a year‑on‑year increase of 62.3% in international visitors. The fair has fully launched its “Hello China, Hello World” global outreach program and introduced a four‑in‑one overseas buyer service system, helping source factories unlock opportunities for international expansion.
  • A Platform for New Product Debuts and Trendsetting Insights: As a “trend‑monitoring device” for the department store sector, the fair showcases over 100,000 annual new releases and hit products. Consumer trends such as Guochao aesthetics, the emotional value economy, and the “lazy economy” are prominently featured, ranging from visually striking new products embodying Guochao style to trendy, emotionally resonant items—offering a clear glimpse of the industry’s shift toward “beauty‑driven consumption,” “functional upgrades,” and “emotional value.”
  • Eight High‑Profile Forums Providing Authoritative Guidance: Concurrent with the fair, events such as the “2025 Supermarket New Consumption Transformation Summit,” the “2025 China Department Store Innovation Retail Summit,” the “2025 Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Blue Ocean Market Special Salon,” and the “2025 Tmall Home New Trends Department Store Forum” bring together industry experts and corporate leaders to engage in in‑depth discussions on hot topics like supermarket restructuring, consumer trends, cross‑border expansion, and digital marketing—providing buyers with forward‑looking insights and decision‑making frameworks.
  • Precision Business Matching and Digital Services: The fair’s dedicated “CDATF Department Store Hub” mini‑program leverages big data to deliver precise match‑making, offering exhibitor recommendations and route‑planning assistance. In the business matchmaking zone, themed sessions are held, including coffee‑related product development meetings, supermarket procurement coordination events, and online channel–livestreamer buyer‑seller alignment forums. Special overseas sessions focus on functional home goods, kitchenware, and cleaning/storage solutions, facilitating deep connections with international buyer groups from Vietnam, South Korea, and other markets.
  • Over 70 Years of Brand Legacy Ensuring Proven Results: Through more than seven decades of evolution, the Department Store Fair has witnessed the transformation of the department store trade and distribution sector—from a planned economy to a market‑oriented one. Regional pavilions representing Fujian, Huairén, Gaoyang towels, and other areas showcase their signature industrial brands, while the China Daily Necessities Industry Association’s cup-and-pot section and the daily necessities premium zone provide targeted matches to meet buyers’ specific needs. Exhibitors widely report receiving substantial order commitments on-site, with the total value of intended transactions steadily increasing.
