The Exhibition Value of Beauty & Wellness Moscow in Russia
- Beauty & Wellness Moscow is the largest and most specialized salon‑level beauty event in Russia and the CIS region, as well as the only Russian beauty trade show accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI). It is widely recognized within the industry as a leading indicator for the Eastern European beauty sector and a strategic gateway for Chinese beauty brands seeking to expand into the Eurasian market. Organized by Reed Exhibitions, the spring edition of 2026 will take place from April 7 to 9 at the Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center in Moscow. With an annual growth rate of 8%, the Russian beauty market ranks among the fastest‑growing globally. Ninety percent of the population regularly purchases cosmetics, and Russian women allocate 12% of their income to beauty products—more than twice the share spent by consumers in Europe and North America.
- The core value of participation lies in its unique platform that seamlessly connects with the Russian and Eurasian Economic Union markets, while concentrating a highly targeted pool of professional buyers. The Russian beauty market is projected to reach US$3.29 billion by 2026. China’s exports of cosmetics to Russia have surged from US$80.45 million in 2020 to US$260 million in 2025, reflecting a remarkable 31.9% annual growth rate, making Russia a key high‑potential destination for Chinese beauty brands expanding overseas. The show attracts 1,100–1,600 exhibitors from over 20 countries and regions, drawing 71,000–96,000 professional visitors, including salon owners, purchasing directors of chain beauty groups, regional distributors, and cross‑border e‑commerce buyers.
- The exhibition establishes a one‑stop commercial platform covering the entire beauty industry value chain. Exhibits span professional hair‑care equipment (such as smart temperature‑controlled hair dryers and low‑damage hair dyes), intelligent beauty devices (including radiofrequency machines, iontophoresis units, and skin‑type analyzers), natural and organic skincare products (featuring plant extracts and additive‑free formulations), color cosmetics and nail care items, salon‑related equipment, oral‑beauty solutions, and packaging materials and raw ingredients—covering the full spectrum of categories. A dedicated zone for Chinese enterprises has been specially curated, offering trilingual interpretation services in Chinese, English, and Russian, along with EAC/GOST‑R certification advisory support, significantly lowering the barriers to entry for SMEs looking to enter this market.
- The show aligns with four major industry trends—compliance standardization, cold‑resistance of products, specialization of equipment, and natural‑ingredient formulations—thereby establishing a cutting‑edge hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. Under the unified regulatory framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, EAC certification (TR CU 009/2011) is a mandatory requirement for cross‑union circulation of cosmetic products, while high‑risk items must also obtain SGR national registration certificates. Low‑risk products sold exclusively in Russia are required to secure additional GOST‑R certification and pass a −20°C cold‑resistance test. In 2025, the exhibition will host more than 100 specialized forums addressing前沿 topics such as pigment‑based therapies, exosome applications, cosmetic market analysis, and building trust between patients and healthcare providers.
- For Chinese companies, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway to tap into the Russian and CIS markets, connect with Eurasian resources, and showcase innovative capabilities. Russia’s domestic beauty supply chain remains underdeveloped, creating substantial demand for Chinese OEM/ODM manufacturing, packaging materials, and cost‑effective finished products. The show features a “Retail Connect” procurement matchmaking session, enabling exhibitors to complete over 1,100 targeted meetings with Russia’s top 50 beauty chain groups and key distributors within just two days. Through this platform, participating companies can access core procurement networks across Eurasia and capture a significant share of the growth opportunities in the Russian and CIS beauty markets.
