The Exhibitor Value of the Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo
- The Shenzhen Industrial Expo is the largest and most influential flagship event in the industrial manufacturing sector in South China. Since its inception in 1999, it has been successfully held over twenty times and is widely recognized within the industry as a benchmark for advanced manufacturing technology innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, as well as an important gateway for global industrial equipment entering the Chinese market. Organized by Xuntong Exhibition Co., Ltd., the 2025 edition gathered nearly 1,500 exhibitors, attracted over 110,000 professional visitors, and covered an exhibition space exceeding 200,000 square meters, serving as a central platform for connecting global industrial supply-chain resources, showcasing cutting-edge technological achievements, and driving collaborative industrial development.
- The core value of participation lies in its platform-based nature, which spans the entire industrial value chain, coupled with its unique advantage in precisely linking manufacturing resources across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The DMP Industrial Expo covers all segments of the industrial value chain, including CNC machine tools, industrial robots, automation technologies, sheet metal laser processing, die-casting and casting, plastic packaging, mold manufacturing, industrial metrology, 3D printing, industrial internet, precision parts, and digital factories—encompassing everything from raw and auxiliary materials and key components to advanced manufacturing equipment and comprehensive solutions, thus forming a complete closed-loop industrial ecosystem. Anchored in Shenzhen, the core engine city of the Greater Bay Area, the expo radiates into the “9+2” urban agglomeration’s advanced manufacturing sector, offering participating companies a strategic window to directly engage with procurement decision-makers from leading manufacturing enterprises across South China and nationwide.
- The expo brings together global industry-leading brands and innovative forces, establishing a stronghold of brand value. Internationally renowned brands such as DMG, FANUC, Mazak, Sodick, Mitsubishi Electric, Zeiss, Hexagon, along with domestic leaders like Beijing Jingdiao, Han’s Laser, Gree Intelligent Equipment, Huazhong CNC, Inovance Technology, Haitian Injection Molding Machines, and LK Group, have convened under one roof. Exhibitors cover every domain—from machine tools and cutting tools to metrology, automation, plastics, and die-casting—presenting a comprehensive panorama of technological evolution from traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing.
- The expo keeps pace with three major industry trends—domestic substitution, digital-intelligent integration, and green transformation—building a high ground for deep industry-academia-research-application collaboration. In 2025, the expo pioneered the “National Trend Machine Tool Exhibition,” gathering over 100 leading domestic machine tool manufacturers represented by Gree, focusing on showcasing self-developed five-axis CNC machines and proprietary intelligent CNC systems, fully highlighting breakthroughs in technological innovation and quality improvement achieved by Chinese-made machine tools. Meanwhile, the Manufacturing Digitalization Zone concentrated on digital transformation, intelligent upgrading, and green development, launching the mDX Transformation Summit and the Supply-Demand Matching Salon, leveraging AI and big data technologies to construct a full-chain intelligent service system, thereby propelling the transformation of traditional industrial marketing models toward smart approaches. Concurrently, the 7th China International CNC Cutting Tool Festival, themed “AI-Powered Materials, Smart Blades Embracing Innovation,” convened top experts from home and abroad to conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge trends in machining technology.
- For Chinese enterprises, this expo serves as a strategic gateway to expand into the South China market, connect with global resources, and showcase innovative strengths. In 2025, the expo organizing committee significantly intensified outreach efforts targeting out-of-province and overseas buyers, introducing transportation and accommodation subsidies, exclusive viewing channels, and precise business-matching services far beyond standard industry norms, thereby attracting support from the Consulates General of Malaysia, Kuwait, Nigeria, Pakistan, and over ten other countries stationed in Guangzhou or Hong Kong, ensuring a steady influx of overseas buyer resources. During the expo, more than 30 specialized forums were held, covering topics such as policy interpretation, technological empowerment, and experience sharing, creating a dual platform for intellectual exchange and practical business implementation to advance supply-chain collaboration. Participating companies can leverage this platform to connect with global procurement networks, seizing early opportunities in the Greater Bay Area’s ongoing transformation toward high-end, intelligent, and green manufacturing.
