展会简介
The Exhibition Value of Vietfood & ProPack in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
- The Vietfood & ProPack Exhibition, co‑organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Health, and other authoritative bodies, is Vietnam’s largest and most influential specialized trade show for food, beverages, and processing & packaging. Against the backdrop of a 7–10% annual growth rate in Vietnam’s food and beverage sector and surging demand for imported raw materials driven by the rise of restaurant chains, the event is widely recognized within the industry as a pivotal gateway for global food companies seeking to expand into the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets.
- A One‑Stop Showcase Covering the Entire Industry ChainThe exhibition encompasses the full spectrum of the food and beverage value chain, including confectionery, convenience foods, seasonings, meat products, seafood, tea, coffee, alcoholic beverages, beer, health supplements, food additives (raw materials, flavorings, sweeteners, preservatives), food processing and packaging equipment (baking machinery, meat processing equipment, sterilization systems, automated packaging machines, filling lines, inspection devices), packaging materials and products (paper, plastic, metal, composite materials), as well as hotel supplies and cold-chain solutions. From raw materials to finished products, and from processing to packaging, exhibitors can seamlessly connect with partners across the entire supply chain—enabling technology demonstrations, brand exposure, and business negotiations all under one roof.
- Precise Access to Core Buyers and Distribution Channels in Vietnam and ASEANIn 2025, the Ho Chi Minh City edition will bring together 1,000 exhibiting companies from 20 countries and regions, featuring 1,400 booths and attracting over 30,000 professional visitors. The 2026 ProPak Vietnam show will likewise host 400 exhibitors from 18 countries. Attendees include food and beverage manufacturers, importers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, catering‑chain procurement teams, and hotel purchasing departments—covering the entire spectrum of buying channels. With Vietnam’s food and beverage industry generating VND 688.8 trillion (approximately USD 25 billion) in revenue in 2024 and continued growth in demand for imported raw materials, exhibitors have direct access to some of the region’s most influential and financially robust buyers.
- Unique Value for Chinese Enterprises: A Strategic Engine for Expanding into the ASEAN Food MarketVietnam is a key export market for Chinese food products and processing machinery. With the deepening implementation of free trade agreements such as RCEP, trade barriers continue to diminish. The exhibition draws numerous Chinese companies specializing in food raw materials, seasonings, and processing equipment, providing an ideal platform for Chinese firms to showcase their own brands, connect with Vietnamese buyers, and secure overseas orders. Vietnamese enterprises are also actively promoting the “Make Vietnamese foods global foods” strategy, providing Chinese companies with strategic opportunities to collaborate with local Vietnamese food brands.
