展会简介
The Exhibition Value of the Netherlands Hydrogen Expo
- The World Hydrogen Summit & Exhibition is the world’s largest and most influential event in the hydrogen industry, widely recognized as the “Davos of the hydrogen sector” and a key indicator of global hydrogen‑related market trends. Co‑hosted by the Sustainable Energy Council (SEC) and Reed Exhibitions Global, the event enjoys strong support from the Dutch government, the Provincial Government of South Holland, the City of Rotterdam, and the Port of Rotterdam Authority, serving as a central platform for driving the global transition to a hydrogen‑based economy.
- The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled international platform and its unique ability to connect exhibitors with decision‑makers across the global hydrogen ecosystem. The 2026 edition is expected to attract over 10,000 industry experts from 77 countries, more than 500 exhibiting companies, and over 300 speakers, representing the full spectrum of the global hydrogen value chain. Attendees include technology manufacturers, private‑sector leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators, providing exhibitors with a strategic gateway to engage directly with key procurement decision‑makers worldwide.
- The exhibition offers a one‑stop commercial platform spanning the entire hydrogen value chain. Exhibits cover all major segments, including hydrogen production technologies—such as electrolyzers, steam reforming, biomass gasification, and photolytic water splitting—storage and transportation solutions like high‑pressure storage, liquid hydrogen, solid‑state hydrogen storage, and pipeline transport, fuel cells and applications ranging from mobility and industrial decarbonization to power generation and heat supply, as well as hydrogen refueling infrastructure—including station equipment, compressors, storage tanks, and metering systems—and carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS). For the first time in 2026, the event will host the CCUS World Summit & Exhibition, fostering deep synergies between hydrogen and carbon‑management technologies and offering exhibitors a comprehensive showcase of end‑to‑end solutions—from clean hydrogen production to full‑life‑cycle carbon management.
- The exhibition aligns with three major industry trends—project implementation, large‑scale deployment, and international collaboration—establishing a cutting‑edge hub for integrated industry‑academia‑research‑application partnerships. Key topics on the agenda include hydrogen project financing and final investment decisions (FID), supply‑chain resilience, cross‑regional hydrogen corridor development, and green hydrogen certification standards. Throughout the event, strategic summits, technical sessions, case‑study presentations, and ministerial roundtables will be held, with high‑level officials—including the Dutch Minister for Climate Policy and Green Growth and the Secretary of India’s Ministry of New and Renewable Energy—sharing national hydrogen strategies. Complementary initiatives such as the H2 Technology Forum series and the H2 Club provide exhibitors with a full suite of opportunities, from technological showcases to high‑level networking events.
- Leveraging Rotterdam’s strategic position as Europe’s largest port and a pivotal hub for the hydrogen industry, the exhibition offers enterprises a vital pathway to access the European market. The Port of Rotterdam serves as Europe’s primary import and distribution center for hydrogen, boasting mature infrastructure and a robust industrial cluster. During the event, on‑site visits to Rotterdam‑based hydrogen projects will enable exhibitors to gain firsthand insights into the operational practices and future plans of the world’s largest green hydrogen import hub. In synergy with the concurrent CCUS World Summit, the exhibition brings together carbon‑capture technology providers and industrial emitters to jointly explore pathways for integrating hydrogen and carbon‑management solutions.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition represents a strategic gateway to penetrate the European market, connect with international resources, and showcase their innovative capabilities. At the 2025 edition, a Chinese delegation participated in ministerial dialogues, while Chinese hydrogen companies leveraged their complete industrial chains and technological strengths to make a notable impression on the international stage. Through this platform, Chinese firms can engage with European energy giants, international investment institutions, and policy makers, positioning themselves to seize early opportunities in Europe’s rapidly expanding hydrogen market.
