展会简介
The Exhibition Value of the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Show in Melbourne
- The Australian Automotive Aftermarket and After‑Sales Services Expo (AAAE) is the largest and most specialized automotive aftermarket event in the South Pacific region. Organized by the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA), it is held biennially at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and is widely recognized as a leading indicator of trends in the Oceania automotive aftermarket and a strategic gateway for global companies seeking to enter the Australian and New Zealand markets. As Australia’s only major international automotive aftermarket show, it enjoys strong backing from the Australian Automotive Industry Association and wields significant industry influence across the country.
- The core value of participation lies in its unique platform that precisely connects exhibitors with Australia’s rapidly growing market and concentrates a highly targeted pool of professional buyers. Australia’s automotive aftermarket generates an annual output of AUD 25 billion, making it one of the world’s most mature and dynamic aftermarkets. The 2024 edition attracted over 400 exhibiting companies and 13,282 professional visitors. For 2026, the show is expected to span 22,000 square meters, host more than 400 exhibitors, and draw approximately 30,000 professional attendees. Australia maintains long-standing, robust political and economic ties with China, characterized by strong economic complementarity and consistently rapid growth in bilateral trade.
- The exhibition establishes a one-stop commercial platform covering the entire automotive aftermarket value chain. Exhibits range from automotive components—such as powertrains, body parts, and chassis systems—to accessories—including tires, audio equipment, electronic parts, and lighting—as well as maintenance tools, roadside assistance equipment, fueling station equipment, and vehicle care and painting solutions. Held concurrently with the Collision Repair Expo, the event forms a comprehensive showcase for auto repair, parts, and after-sales services. Special zones, including the “Expo Electrified Zone” and the “ADAS Technology Zone,” highlight cutting-edge advancements in new‑energy vehicle repair, ADAS calibration, and EV‑specific tools.
- The show aligns with three major industry trends—electrification, intelligentization, and digital transformation—creating a hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. The 2026 edition, themed “Driving What’s Next,” places particular emphasis on technological innovation and future development in the automotive aftermarket. During the event, world‑class training sessions will be offered, covering advanced diagnostic techniques, ADAS calibration, electric vehicle repair, and business management. Renowned international diagnostics experts Danny Versluis (of the Diagnose Dan YouTube channel) and Sean Tipping (of the Automotive Diagnostic Podcast) will deliver live workshops. Additional highlights include an innovative products zone, a vehicle customization showcase, skill competitions, and industry award ceremonies.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition serves as a strategic gateway to tap into the Australian market, connect with Oceania’s resources, and demonstrate their innovative capabilities. Australian demand for automotive and motorcycle parts, repair and maintenance equipment, and related products remains strong. In 2024, 240 Chinese companies participated, spanning areas such as automotive diagnostics and ancillary parts. LAUNCH Technology, for instance, showcased a 54‑square‑meter booth at the 2024 event, drawing interest from mechanics, retail distributors, and wholesalers across Australia. Exhibiting firms can leverage this platform to access key procurement networks in Oceania and seize early opportunities in Australia’s ongoing transition toward electrification and intelligent technologies in the automotive aftermarket.
