展会简介
The Exhibition Value of Asia Fruit Logistica
- Asia Fruit Logistica is the largest and only specialized trade show in Asia dedicated to the entire fresh fruit and vegetable value chain. Since its inception in 1998, it has become a strategic gateway and a key barometer for global fruit and vegetable industry players seeking to expand into the Asian market. Organized by Global Product Exhibitions (GPE), the event is a sister show to the world’s premier fruit and vegetable exhibition, Fruit Logistica in Berlin. Held annually at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo, it serves as a central platform for connecting global industry resources, showcasing cutting-edge technological advancements, and gaining insights into emerging consumer trends across Asia.
- The core value of participation lies in its unparalleled reach within the Asian market and its highly concentrated pool of professional buyers. In 2025, the exhibition attracted over 760 exhibiting companies from 43 countries and regions, with more than 14,000 professional visitors, further solidifying its position as a pivotal global trade platform for Asia’s fruit and vegetable sector. Among attendees, 84% hold senior management positions, and 86% have decision-making influence over purchasing, providing exhibitors with a strategic opportunity to engage directly with Asia’s key procurement decision-makers. China has remained the largest single participating country for many years, accounting for over 40% of exhibitors, followed closely by the United States, Australia, Egypt, and New Zealand.
- The exhibition offers a one-stop commercial platform spanning the entire fruit and vegetable value chain. Exhibits cover fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen produce, organic products, dried fruits and nuts, processed fruit and vegetable items, as well as related technologies such as cultivation techniques, post-harvest handling, cold-chain logistics, packaging equipment, and smart agricultural solutions. The event brings together leading global industry players, including Aartsen Asia, Aomori Apples, T&G Global, Dole Asia, Jiannong, Xinrongmao, BaiGuoYuan, and Zespri. In 2025, Peru will make its debut as an official partner country, while Japan, Israel, Armenia, and other nations will participate for the first time as national pavilions, underscoring the exhibition’s growing appeal to emerging markets.
- The exhibition aligns with three major industry trends—technology-driven innovation, cold-chain upgrades, and sustainable transformation—establishing a robust hub for deep integration among industry, academia, research, and application. For the first time in 2025, the event will host dedicated forums on frozen fruits and vegetables, as well as nuts and dried fruits, featuring industry experts who will share insights into market trends and practical applications. Concurrently, Asia Fruit Logistica will present three flagship thematic events—the Asia Fruit Business Forum, the Asia Fruit Show Stage, and the Asia Fruit Conference—focusing on前沿 topics such as AI-driven supply-chain optimization, automated packaging, and IQF freshness-locking technologies. Additionally, a dedicated zone for first-time exhibitors will provide innovative enterprises with high‑visibility exposure.
- For Chinese enterprises, this exhibition represents a strategic gateway to expanding into Asian and global markets, connecting with international resources, and showcasing their innovative capabilities. Held in Hong Kong, the event leverages the city’s status as a free-trade port and its advantageous location with strong regional connectivity, serving as a two-way bridge that enables Chinese fruit and vegetable companies to “go global” while attracting overseas firms to “enter the Asian market.” Provinces such as Shaanxi, Jiangxi, and Shandong have organized multiple delegation participations, helping local fruit and vegetable brands achieve international recognition. Through this platform, participating companies can access global sourcing networks and seize early opportunities presented by Asia’s ongoing consumption upgrade and supply-chain transformation.
