Profile
The German Exhibition for Homeland Security and Police Equipment (GPEC) was first held in 2000. It attracts manufacturers of current and future‑generation technological equipment, with a primary focus on police gear and supplies for law enforcement, border security, immigration and prison authorities, customs and government intelligence and security agencies, as well as specialized task forces and infantry units. The event also features conferences, special sessions, and product demonstrations, serving as an international platform for face-to-face exchanges among delegations and professional visitors from Europe and beyond.
The German Exhibition for Homeland Security and Police Equipment (GPEC) concentrates on homeland security and police equipment, information and communication technologies, command and control systems, IT security, data analytics, specialized vehicles and intelligent transportation, road safety, aviation, counter‑terrorism, anti‑narcotics and explosive ordnance disposal, emergency rescue, and all other related fields.
Since the events of September 11 in the United States, global attention to homeland security and police equipment has significantly increased. As Europe’s economic powerhouse and the political heart of the European Union, Germany places particular emphasis on these areas; German Federal Minister of the Interior Thomas de Maizière has attended GPEC‑related events. Against this backdrop, the German Exhibition for Homeland Security and Police Equipment (GPEC) provides a dedicated professional forum for domestic and international stakeholders in the homeland security and police equipment sectors.
Leading industry players are represented, including 3M, BEA, Airbus, B&W, BMW, the German Federal Police, the International Police Association, Daimler Group, Dyneema, DuPont, EAS, FAAC, Canon, FLIR, Motorola, Fujifilm, Siemens, Getac, Rheinmetall, Jane’s Defence, Saab, SK, Oracle, Panasonic, Nikon, Mobotix, Thales, Ricoh, RUAG, Siemens, Škoda, Smith, Teijin, Neosoft, Rohde & Schwarz, Volkswagen, and many others.
German Homeland Security and Police Equipment Exhibition tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
