MADE Expo (Milan Building Materials & Hardware Exhibition) serves as a premier gathering and networking hub for global home designers and industry professionals. Co-organized by FederlegnoArredo (Italian Federation of Wood and Furniture Industries), MADE Expo and Salone del Mobile.Milano stand as the two flagship exhibitions under the association, operating as sister events. MADE Expo focuses on comprehensive system solutions related to architectural design and engineering, covering various building materials, construction production technologies, and equipment beyond furniture and decoration. Since 2013, the exhibition has transitioned to a biennial format, held in odd-numbered years.
The previous edition of MADE Expo covered a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters, hosting 900 exhibitors from Japan, China, South Korea, Russia, Germany, Dubai, Australia, Brazil, and other regions, with an attendance of 86,000 visitors. MADE Expo encompasses all aspects of the construction industry—from architectural financing and planning to real estate marketing.
MADE Expo (Milan Building Materials & Hardware Exhibition)is a B2B trade fair dedicated to the architecture and construction sectors. Construction companies, architects, engineers, contractors, building material suppliers, and other industry experts attend the event to discover the latest products and services. It is also a highly sought-after exhibition for Chinese professional home manufacturers. Venue transport
- Metro / rail
Take Milan’s Red Line (M1) subway; the final stop is Rho Fiera Station, which is directly connected to the exhibition center—exit the station and you’re there.
- Air
Malpensa Airport (MXP): Take the Malpensa Express train to Milan Cadorna Station, then transfer to the Metro Red Line (M1); alternatively, during the exhibition period, use the direct airport shuttle bus (Malpensa Shuttle).
Linate Airport (LIN): First take Bus No. 73 into the city center, then transfer to the Metro Red Line (M1); or, during the exhibition, board the direct bus departing from the airport.
Bergamo Airport (BGY): Take the airport shuttle bus to Milan Central Station, then connect with the metro or train; alternatively, during the exhibition, use the direct shuttle bus (Orio Shuttle).

From Milano Centrale and Milano Porta Garibaldi stations: direct trains to Rho Fiera are available, with a journey time of approximately 14 minutes at the fastest.
- Drive
The exhibition center is conveniently located adjacent to several major highways, with easy access via the A4 (toward Venice and Turin), the A8 (toward Varese), and the A9 (toward Como). The venue offers over 14,000 parking spaces, ensuring convenient parking.
