Guangzhou International National Security and Safety Expo (SecuEx China) is co-hosted by the China Small and Medium Enterprise Cooperation and Development Promotion Center and the China Military Defense Science and Technology Innovation Research Institute. It aims to upgrade safe cities to smart cities, involving major infrastructure, urban safety, and personal safety.

To promote the upgrade of safe cities to smart cities and ensure national security, critical infrastructure, urban safety, and personal safety, SecuEx China was born under this background. It focuses on serving the national security and safety industry, concentrating on law enforcement equipment, security checks, perimeters, biometrics, artificial intelligence, etc.; it provides a platform for exchange and display for relevant government departments, public institutions, enterprises, associations, media, etc. The exhibition has been promoted in 17 countries in three major arms trade markets globally (the Middle East, ASEAN, North Africa) and Europe, Central Asia, such as the UAE, Israel, Turkey, Jordan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Russia, France, UK, Czech Republic, Egypt, etc., actively organizing overseas buyers, striving to build the Guangzhou International National Security and Safety Exhibition SecuEx China into a professional national security exhibition in China.
