Established in 2004, the Qingdao International Tire & Wheel Exhibition (CTF) aims to provide an international trade negotiation platform for the industry. It has now developed into a well-known professional tire exhibition in the sector and the most market-oriented international tire event.

By promoting technological advancement and sustainable development of the tire, wheel, and related industries under the new economic development model, the CTF has expanded its exhibition scope and content, fully demonstrating the unique value of the event: new products, new technologies, and new opportunities.

China is the world's largest consumer of natural rubber, the top manufacturer of rubber products, and the leading tire producer. The tire output in the Shandong Peninsula region, led by Qingdao, accounts for 52% of the national total, with exports exceeding 60%. For 21 consecutive years, the region has ranked first domestically in the number of tire enterprises, production volume, sales revenue, profits and taxes, and export volume. It is home to half of China's top ten tire brands and serves as a renowned domestic and international tire trade center and industrial cluster. In the rubber trade sector, leveraging its port advantages, Qingdao has become a major import gateway and key distribution hub for natural rubber in China, with Qingdao Port handling over 60% of the nation's rubber raw materials and products. In the scientific research field, Qingdao University of Science and Technology is known as the "Cradle of Qingdao's Rubber Industry" and the "Whampoa Military Academy of China's Rubber Industry." As the first higher education institution in China to establish a rubber specialty, it has laid a solid foundation of talent and research for the development of Qingdao's rubber industry.

The CTF gathers 1,076 world-class tire and wheel enterprises, building a complete industrial chain matched with global sales and procurement. Hosted in an "online + offline" dual-integration model, it enables exhibitors and overseas enterprises to conduct transactions "in the cloud."
