AI for Good Global Summit

The AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva, Switzerland, is the United Nations' leading action-oriented platform dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence for health, climate, gender equality, inclusive prosperity, sustainable infrastructure, and other global development priorities. The AI for Good initiative is organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the UN specialized agency for information and communication technologies, in collaboration with over 40 UN sister agencies, and co-convened with the Government of Switzerland.

With the rapid advancement of generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT, how to efficiently utilize and regulate AI has become one of the core concerns in the global tech community. First launched in 2017, the AI for Good Global Summit in Geneva is a leading, action-oriented, globally inclusive UN event. This summit is part of the broader "AI for Good" initiative. The "AI for Good" initiative aims to identify practical AI applications, scale the global impact of AI solutions, and accelerate the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Operating year-round via an online platform, it hosts various activities centered around three core pillars: Learn, Build, and Connect.

The summit covers all aspects of AI, including: the role of AI in sustainable development, AI ethics and fairness, applications and innovations in environmental protection, potential and applications in medical diagnostics, drug discovery, and public health, uses in education and smart transportation, inclusivity in AI technology adoption, and regulatory policies and governance frameworks for AI.

At the summit, participants recognized that AI technology holds significant potential to drive inclusive growth, create employment opportunities, and enhance social well-being, while also advancing education, expanding healthcare access, and improving agricultural productivity. Experts also called for strengthened international cooperation, emphasizing the need for policies and regulations to guide AI development, ensuring technological transparency and ethical standards.

AI for Good Global Summit tickets are e-tickets. Domestic and international visitors must complete online pre-registration with real-name passport verification. After purchase, the organizer verifies visitor identity. Visitors who do not meet entry requirements may need to submit additional documents. Once approved, you will receive email confirmation or a QR code. On site, present your original passport and confirmation letter to collect a paper badge, or scan the QR code to enter.
