Taipei International Medical Devices and Rehabilitation Exhibition (Medical Taiwan) is one of Asia’s most influential events in the medical and healthcare industries. This year’s edition will center on three key themes—“Smart Long-Term Care,” “Smart Healthcare,” and the “Medical Device Corridor”—to comprehensively showcase the latest trends in medical technology and health care, with a particular focus on attracting wholesalers, agents, distributors, and healthcare professionals from both domestic and international markets.

In response to rapidly accelerating population aging, demand for long-term care services continues to rise. The Taipei International Medical Devices and Rehabilitation Exhibition (Medical Taiwan) is introducing, for the first time, a dedicated “Smart Long-Term Care Zone,” highlighting home-care devices, smart monitoring systems, digital management platforms, and other innovative solutions, thereby presenting a comprehensive portfolio of age-friendly technologies and products. Concurrently, a “Smart Long-Term Care Forum” will be held, bringing together industry experts to discuss smart care models, service innovations, and practical experiences, helping institutions and enterprises navigate the critical pathways of long-term care transformation.

As public interest in fitness continues to grow, health management is shifting from a purely “curative” approach toward a more preventive and rehabilitative paradigm. To align with this trend, the Taipei International Medical Devices and Rehabilitation Exhibition (Medical Taiwan) will expand its existing assistive and protective equipment sections by adding a new “Sports Medicine Zone,” featuring cutting-edge technologies such as sports injury prevention tools, intelligent rehabilitation devices, and functional training systems, thus opening up diverse application scenarios for medical institutions, rehabilitation centers, and the broader fitness industry.

The Taipei International Medical Devices and Rehabilitation Exhibition (Medical Taiwan) will continue to collaborate closely with Taiwan’s three major medical professional associations, leveraging public–private–academic–industry partnerships to drive industrial upgrading. In addition, the organizers will host one-on-one procurement matchmaking sessions and industry forums, facilitating connections between companies and specialized buyers while expanding opportunities for international collaboration.
