Founded in 1979, the China (Guangzhou) International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) is held biannually in spring and autumn, comprising both an exhibition and a forum. Organized by Reed Exhibitions, it has evolved into a globally leading comprehensive service platform covering the entire medical device industry chain, integrating product technology, new product launches, procurement and trade, brand promotion, scientific research cooperation, academic forums, and education & training.

Thousands of new products gather in Guangzhou to co-create a new blueprint for global healthcare. CMEF brings together nearly 5,000 enterprises from around 20 countries and regions, showcasing over 10,000 new products. It is expected to attract more than 117,159 professional visitors. 

As a vital hub for global medical trade, this edition of CMEF has attracted buyers from over 130 countries and regions. Procurement demands from Bangladesh, Germany, Colombia, Australia, and other nations span multiple fields including medical consumables, diagnostic reagents, imaging equipment, endoscopes, and molecular diagnostics, with procurement values ranging from tens of thousands to tens of millions of US dollars.

Hailed as the global healthcare 'barometer,' this edition of CMEF is themed 'Health, Innovation, Sharing – Co-creating a New Blueprint for Global Healthcare.' Concurrently, over 60 conferences and forums will be held, including the inaugural Health Promotion Conference and the High-Quality Development Forum for Public Hospitals. These events will focus on industry hot topics such as technological innovation, AI+ healthcare, digital transformation, and international cooperation. Through in-depth discussions and precise matchmaking, the fair aims to accelerate medical-engineering translation and industrial upgrading, delivering a healthcare feast of cutting-edge technologies and intellectual exchange to the global health industry.
