International Defence and Security Technology Exhibition (IDET)IDET

The International Defence and Security Technology Exhibition (IDET) is the most influential defence and security technology exhibition in the Czech Republic. Since 1997, it has been one of the largest defence technology exhibitions in Central and Eastern Europe. It features weapons and ammunition, combat tanks, vehicles and transport, aircraft, command and communication systems, security technology and services, observation and marking equipment, maintenance and repair, and equipment for military and police professional training.

The previous edition of IDET covered a total exhibition area of 26,000 square meters, with 418 exhibiting companies from China, the United States, Russia, Poland, Italy, the United Kingdom, Japan, Dubai, Turkey, Spain, and other regions, attracting 35,000 visitors.

As a leading defence exhibition in NATO countries, it not only shoulders the responsibility of showcasing defence industry achievements but also aims to introduce advanced foreign military products to upgrade special military equipment. IDET serves as the premier trade platform for Chinese defence and security technology enterprises to enter the Czech Republic and other NATO countries.
