Japan Osaka Composites ExhibitionProfile
The Material Week Osaka, held in Osaka, Japan, is the most renowned composite materials exhibition in western Japan. It is also one of the world’s most advanced materials exhibitions, bringing together five major material categories—high-performance films, plastics, metals, ceramics, and coatings—along with related technologies. To explore cutting-edge materials and technologies, manufacturers from Japan and around the globe will participate in this event.
In addition to the exhibition, a series of specialized forums and events will be organized, including seminars on composite materials technology, new product launch conferences, and case-study presentations on composite applications, all aimed at driving innovation and advancement within the composite materials industry. The exhibition draws significant attention and participation from professionals and the general public across the global composite materials sector, making it an unmissable highlight for the industry.
The Material Week Osaka has witnessed substantial growth compared to last year, both in terms of exhibition space and the number of participating companies and professional visitors. This trend underscores the unprecedented importance that high-value-added chemical new materials—particularly high-performance films and plastics—are receiving in Japan. Japanese companies in these fields have intensified their R&D and production efforts, with enhancing competitiveness in high-value-added materials emerging as a key strategic priority for the nation’s chemical industry.
