The Ceramics Expo Osaka covered a total exhibition space of 25,000 square meters in its last edition, with 420 participating companies hailing from South Korea, China, the United States, Dubai, India, Italy, Singapore, Russia, and other countries. The event attracted approximately 28,000 visitors.
The Ceramics Expo Osaka exemplifies the global state of the art in advanced ceramics, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and emerging R&D trends across the sector. The customer base in Osaka differs significantly from that in Tokyo: 86% of attendees come from western Japan. As a renowned industrial hub, Osaka is home to numerous factories and industrial zones, where raw material buyers often source products directly on site. Demand for raw materials remains robust throughout the Japanese market, with roughly 80% of industrial ceramic raw materials imported. It’s about a 5-minute walk from Nakafuto Station (Osaka Metro Nankō Port Town Line/New Tram).
It’s about an 8-minute walk from Trade Center-mae Station (Osaka Metro Nankō Port Town Line/New Tram). On rainy days, we recommend this station, as there is a covered route.
It’s about a 9-minute walk from Cosmosquare Station (Osaka Metro Chūō Line). This is the terminus of the Chūō Line; exit through Exit 3 or Exit 4 and follow the signage to reach the exhibition halls.

From Kansai International Airport: Take the Nankai Electric Railway Airport Express or the JR Kansai Airport Rapid Service to Namba Station, then transfer to the subway as directed above to reach the exhibition venue. The total travel time is approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour. There are no direct train services; a transfer is required.
From Osaka Itami Airport: A taxi ride takes about 45 minutes and costs approximately JPY 11,000. Alternatively, you can take the monorail followed by a subway connection, though this option involves multiple transfers and takes around 1 hour in total.
