The FIMAQH International Machine Tool, Automation & Robotics Exhibition is one of the most influential machine tool exhibitions in South America. Organized independently by CARMAHE, the authoritative Argentine machine tool industry association, the exhibition covers machine tools, measuring instruments, peripheral equipment, and precision tools.

FIMAQH originated from EMAQH, the second-largest machine tool exhibition in Central and South America, which began in 1982. The 2002 Argentine economic crisis led to a reduction in scale and postponement of EMAQH, prompting exhibitors to request CARMAHE to independently organize FIMAQH. The exhibition has consistently set new records in transaction volume and professional visitor attendance. This success is partly attributed to Argentina's six consecutive years of rapid economic growth following its recovery. Even under the impact of the 2008 global financial crisis, Argentina's economy maintained a 7% growth rate, largely benefiting from policies that adjusted the industrial structure and accelerated industrialization. Since Q1 2012, Argentina's industrial production has seen an average annual growth of 15%. The development of the automotive, steel, and machinery sectors has further stimulated market demand for capital goods such as machine tools in Argentina.

The previous edition of FIMAQH covered a total exhibition area of 56,000 square meters, featuring 839 exhibiting companies from China, Japan, Taiwan (China), Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Dubai, Turkey, the United States, Australia, Canada, and other regions, attracting 61,700 attendees.
