China Ningbo New Display Industry Expo Profile
Ningbo New Display Industry Expo (CDE) is co-organized by the Ningbo Electronic Association, Ningbo Adhesive Tapes and Products Association, China Optoelectronics Industry Platform, China New Materials Development Platform, and Optoelectronic Materials and Devices Network. The purpose of the exhibition is to promote close cooperation between domestic display panels and upstream raw materials and equipment companies, as well as downstream display companies to collaborate in innovation, strengthen the chain, and make up for key core technologies. It aims to accelerate the improvement of raw material shortages and equipment deficiencies, increase market share, and at the same time strengthen domestic and international exchanges and cooperation, building a professional exhibition, academic research, sales platform, to improve industrial structure and promote industry progress.
Currently, China's display industry has completed its first stage goal, solving the dilemma of China being a major producer of display terminals but lacking screens. However, from the perspective of the entire display industry chain development goals, the construction of the industrial "moat" still has a long way to go. In response to the problem of weak basic industries such as key equipment and materials, it is necessary to strengthen collaboration between industry, academia, and research, guide collaborative innovation to improve local industrial chains, comprehensively enhance core capabilities, and play a leading role in ensuring industrial security and promoting the advancement of global display technology.
