China (Beijing) International Machine Tool ShowProfile
The China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) is one of the world’s four major international machine tool exhibitions. Established in 1989 and organized by the China Machine Tool Industry Association, it is China’s most prestigious international exhibition for machine tools, ranking alongside EMO (the European International Machine Tool Exhibition), IMTS (the International Machine Tool Show in Chicago, USA), and JIMTOF (the Japan International Machine Tool Fair) as one of the world’s four leading machine tool fairs.
As a globally acclaimed event in the machine tool industry, the China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) boasts a total exhibition area of 310,000 square meters, setting a new record for both the largest scale among all previous machine tool exhibitions and the largest footprint of any trade show held in Beijing. This edition has more than doubled in size compared to the last, attracting over 2,400 exhibitors from 31 countries and regions, including numerous Fortune Global 500 companies and leading brands in the sector. Additionally, machine tool associations and trade promotion agencies from 13 countries and regions—including Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom—have assembled delegations to participate.
Exhibits span the entire machine tool value chain, ranging from precision machining centers and specialized machine tools to core components, cutting tools, and metrology instruments. With the theme “Integration and Innovation, Digital Intelligence for the Future,” CIMT highlights the deep integration of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things with machine tool manufacturing, showcasing the industry’s emerging trend toward intelligent and digital transformation.
The China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) continues to strengthen its international standing and influence, serving as a vital platform for the exchange of advanced manufacturing technologies and global trade, as well as a premier showcase for the latest breakthroughs in modern equipment manufacturing. It stands as a barometer and indicator of progress in China’s mechanical manufacturing technology and the development of its machine tool industry. By bringing together the world’s most advanced and suitable machine tool products, CIMT offers domestic buyers and users an unparalleled opportunity to conduct international benchmarking without leaving the country.
