The Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable & Floriculture Horticulture Exhibition (HortEx Vietnam) has become the largest specialized exhibition in Southeast Asia for fruit and vegetable production and processing technology as well as floriculture horticulture. According to Mr. Nguyen Luu Qiang, Director of Crop Production Department under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam, currently, Vietnam's fruit tree planting area exceeds 1.2 million hectares, and the vegetable area is 1 million hectares. In 2023, Vietnam's fruit and vegetable exports reached a record high of nearly $5.7 billion.
