The Shanghai East China Import and Export Commodity Fair - ECIF (East China Fair, abbreviated as ECF) is the largest import and export trade fair focusing on the textile, clothing, and light industry products in China. It is jointly hosted by the provinces of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Nanjing, and Ningbo. Since its inception in 1991, ECIF has adhered to the direction of professionalization, marketization, and internationalization, gradually growing into the second-largest trade fair after the Canton Fair.

The current ECIF has been upgraded in terms of scale and "value", aiming to help foreign trade enterprises secure more orders. The exhibition area of the Shanghai East China Import and Export Commodity Fair - ECIF is 126,500 square meters, an increase of 21,300 square meters compared to the previous session, featuring four specialized sub-exhibitions: Apparel and Fashion Exhibition, Textile Fabric Exhibition, Household Products Exhibition, and Decorative Gifts Exhibition, as well as two specialized areas for overseas exhibitors and cross-border e-commerce. There are 3,500 participating companies, among which 326 are overseas exhibitors from 13 countries and regions, all exceeding the scale of the previous ECIF.

The opening forum focuses on the theme of "focusing on quality improvement and promoting high-quality development of foreign trade", inviting representatives from provincial and municipal commerce authorities, domestic and foreign chambers of commerce, industry representatives, senior experts and scholars to discuss topics such as global supply chain adjustments and China's foreign trade development, pilot free trade zones and high-level openness, as well as green trade, digital trade, etc.
