The Shanghai International Optics Fair (SIOF) is one of the largest officially recognized international optics industry and trade exhibitions in China, and a premier optics exhibition in Asia featuring renowned brands.

Co-organized by the China National Glasses Association and China National Light Industry Council International Holding Co., Ltd., the fair has been approved by relevant government authorities to meet market demands. It enables overseas companies to exhibit internationally renowned products and attracts a growing number of international buyers for networking and trade.

Under the theme "Elevating Vision, Gathering Momentum for Renewal," this edition of SIOF demonstrates the Chinese optics industry's firm confidence in accumulating strength and breaking through for new growth. Covering an exhibition area of 72,000 square meters, the event hosted 758 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions, showcasing 334 internationally renowned brands. The fair featured numerous highlights and attracted massive crowds.

China is the world's largest single market for eyewear. With continuous annual growth in GDP and rising disposable incomes, there is a strong and growing demand for innovative and fashionable eyewear products.

SIOF not only showcases the latest advancements across the eyewear industry—from R&D and upstream manufacturing to terminal retail and service systems—but also highlights cutting-edge innovations from fields like AI, biotechnology, and green sustainability applied to optics. Examples include 3D-printed optical frames using new materials, AI-enhanced eye health screenings, aesthetic designs inspired by traditional cultural heritage, and innovative concepts in optical retail.
