Prodexpo (Moscow International Food & Beverage Exhibition) is the leading international food and beverage exhibition in Russia and Eastern Europe. It has been UFI (The Global Association of the Exhibition Industry) certified since 1998 and receives strong support from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Moscow Government.

Prodexpo showcases food and beverages from around the world, ranging from staple foods and drinks to gourmet specialties, as well as organic, sports & health foods, Halal, Kosher, and exotic products. It is the only place to experience Russia's largest exhibition of alcoholic beverages and wines from over 30 countries.

In recent years, Russia's economic growth has continuously improved living standards, driving increasing consumer demand for food. However, domestic production falls far short of meeting this demand, necessitating substantial annual food imports. Russia's food market is highly import-dependent, with annual food imports reaching up to USD 12 billion. This presents significant complementarity with China's food sector. Food products have become a major export category from China to Russia, offering immense business opportunities for Chinese food and food processing enterprises.

Manufacturers at Prodexpo plan to launch their new products, trademarks, and brands. Up to 14% of novel products are showcased at the trade fair annually. Thanks to its extensive international influence, Prodexpo plays a crucial role in the development of Russia's food industry.
