The Fujian Sewing Equipment Exhibition (JISMA) is positioned as the only specialized international sewing equipment show in the West Coast Economic Zone of Fujian, poised to inject fresh vitality into the industry and open up new market opportunities for technologically advanced multinational corporations and specialized enterprises, thereby fostering greater business prospects in Fujian.

The Fujian Sewing Equipment Exhibition (JISMA) continues to invite leading international companies and trade associations to participate. This edition is expected to span 20,000 square meters, attracting more than 600 exhibitors and drawing over 30,000 visitors from related industries seeking procurement opportunities.

Quanzhou, Jinjiang, Shishi, Changle, and Xiamen have successively been recognized as “China’s Textile Industry Base,” “China’s Shoe Capital,” “China’s Town of Leisure Apparel,” “China’s Town of Sportswear,” “China’s Town of Underwear,” “China’s Town of Trousers,” and “the World’s Jacket Capital.” Together, they have established a complete, end-to-end industrial chain encompassing spinning, weaving, bleaching and dyeing, finishing, and garment manufacturing. With manufacturing at its core, Fujian’s apparel, footwear, headgear, luggage, and handbag sectors hold a pivotal position nationwide, and sewing equipment is extensively utilized across the apparel, footwear, leather goods, hat, and luggage industries.

Fujian boasts 16,833 footwear and apparel enterprises with annual output values exceeding RMB 10 million, including 853 enterprises surpassing RMB 100 million in revenue, along with four renowned apparel‑focused towns—Yinglin, Shenhu, Hanjiang, and Lingxiu. In the Quanzhou–Jinjiang region alone, there are nearly 32,000 footwear and apparel firms, while Shishi hosts over 6,700 such enterprises, collectively generating an annual output value exceeding RMB 100 billion. As an emerging hub for the footwear and apparel industries, this region exhibits robust and steadily growing demand for a wide range of sewing equipment.

The Fujian Sewing Equipment Exhibition (JISMA) primarily attracts audiences from within Fujian Province, including Jinjiang, Quanzhou, Shishi, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Changle, Putian, Shantou, and Chaozhou. Enterprises place particular emphasis on Jinjiang as a key industrial base; nearly 50% of China’s sportswear and footwear production is concentrated in the Quanzhou–Jinjiang area. The exhibition stands as the province’s sole large‑scale, specialized international event dedicated to sewing equipment.
