During the matchmaking events, the Sino-Dutch fishery cooperation project—the "International Business Partner Program (PIB): Development of the Chinese Seafood Market"—was officially launched. Leveraging the Netherlands' advantages in fishery technology, equipment manufacturing, food processing, and sustainable development, the project will foster in-depth cooperation with Chinese partners in high-end seafood, sustainable aquaculture, and cold chain system construction, jointly driving global seafood trade toward high-quality and green development.

This marks the Netherlands' return to the China Fisheries & Seafood Expo with a national pavilion after many years. Karel, Agricultural Counselor at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in China, noted that the Netherlands, located at the confluence of the North Sea coast and the deltas of three major European rivers, boasts unique geographical conditions that have nurtured a world-leading fishery industry system. As the world's second-largest agricultural exporter, the Netherlands possesses advanced fishery processing, cold chain logistics, and sustainable aquaculture technologies. Moving forward, the Dutch side will continue to organize more enterprises to participate in the Qingdao expo, actively expanding cooperation with China.
